Goodreads Hot Takes That Made Us SCREAM Aug 25, 2025

Show notes

We’re back with a full dose of Goodreads chaos! In this episode, we (Melissa & Ellie) pull some of the spiciest one-star and five-star Goodreads reviews we could find… and let’s just say, the hot takes are HOT. From books we adored getting dragged through the mud, to books we couldn’t stand getting praised like masterpieces, we try to guess which book is being roasted (or worshipped). Plus, we sprinkle in a little trivia for fun. It’s messy, it’s hilarious, and it’s very, very us.

Everything We Forgot About Heir of Fire Aug 18, 2025

Show notes

What happens when you try to retell Heir of Fire from memory… a year and a half later? Chaos. Pure chaos. In this episode of the L.A.M.E. Book Club Podcast, Melissa and Ellie attempt to piece together Sarah J. Maas’s third Throne of Glass book without notes, outlines, or a reread—and the results are hilarious. Expect spoilers, fuzzy plot points, strong opinions, and plenty of moments that will make you scream at your screen. Did we totally butcher the details? Probably. Did we have the best time doing it? Absolutely.
