A pair of players that battled in the trenches on UK's defensive line for years sat down with KSR to discuss their time in Lexington.
Since arriving on campus in 2017, Quinton Bohanna and Phil Hoskins helped Kentucky to a 30-20 record and three straight bowl wins. Anchors on the defensive line, the two combined for more than 110 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, six sacks, four pass deflections, a fumble recovery and an interception.
The big boys in the middle of Kentucky's stout defense are no strangers to trash talk. Now outside of the athletic department's grasp (well, Phil still hasn't completely ruled out returning for one more year), they took the gloves off and spoke their minds for an hour. Not only is the football talk insightful, it's hilarious. They pull no punches, especially when it comes to the University of Louisville. A few other topics touched on...
-- What Q said to NC State's Bailey Hockman after he threw an interception.
-- Why the Gator Bowl was the most meaningful bowl trip.
-- Origins of the Big Snacc nickname.
-- What it was like playing alongside Josh Allen.
-- Their favorite teams to beat.
-- Conferences outside of the SEC are playing pee wee football.
-- The best players they've ever seen on a football field.
-- What makes Mark Stoops a coach they would want their sons to play for.
