Show notes

This week we're on part 5 of our 8-part series discussing Stephen King's Duma Key! Edgar's art show has arrived at last and with it his entire family! It's a joyous happy moment interrupted by a sudden tragic death. Perse is awake and Edgar might be the only one who can stop her.

Discussion Question: In a classic King move, Stephen heavily foreshadows Ilse's eventual death this week. How do you think King decides what to "spoil" and what to hold back?

Next week, Duma Key continues with chapters 15-17!

Are there any other incredibly descriptive things in written stories that you wish you could see with your eyes?
