The smash Netflix hit, Dahmer - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, gave Christy and Jackie pause. It’s well produced, but - it seems - not entirely ETHICALLY produced. We talk about the affect on victims’ families and how OUR show needs to change moving forward.

We are NOT talking Dahmer today. We felt a WAY about Dahmer and we need to take a moment to sit with our feelings, reactions of viewers, and - most importantly - the voiced thoughts of Dahmer’s victims' families. Here are outtakes from The Batman, Candy, Blackbird and Who Do You Believe while we take that time.

Just a Little Trim - Lorena Sep 08, 2022

Show notes

Abused spouse or vindictive, unsatisfied lover? We learn so much more than just the media hype - though there is a ton to talk about there as well - of one of the most infamous couples of the 1990’s: John and Lorena Bobbitt. The 2019 doc - Lorena - is full of details and interviews that shed a new light on a familiar story.
We don’t use objectionable language, but we do talk about sexual abuse and use the anatomically correct verbage for mail genital frequently in this episode. Listener discretion is advised.
If you are in an abusive situation, please get help. The National Domestic Violence Hotline can be reached at 1-800-799-7233, by texting “START” to 88788, or with a live chat at thehotline.org.
