Episode 72: The Longest Piece Ever Apr 13, 2026
    Show notes

I’ve heard it before and I’ll hear it again: classical music concerts are REALLY LONG.

You’re not wrong… but really, everything is about perspective, ain’t it?

We explore several pieces that are just really long pieces of music. Enormous pieces that take up actual literal fractions of your life. One is designed to outlast us by several centuries. *

*I was a philosophy minor in college and the amount of strength and willpower it’s taking me to not launch into the artistic temerity of humanity at this moment in time should be given some sort of award.
