Fox News Host turned top prosecutor in DC, Jeanine Pirro, engaged in gross prosecutorial overreach by urging multiple grand juries to charge protestors with felonies when the facts plainly warranted only misdemeanor charges.

Fortunately, the grand jurors, sitting as the conscious of the community, refused to indict the protestors of felony crimes. So Pirro directs her prosecutors to charge the protesters with less series misdemeanor offenses.

Given how Donald Trump treated the "protestors" who attacked the US Capitol on January 6th, 2021, versus how Trump's DOJ is currently treating these two protestors, Glenn says they'll have one heck of a selective prosecution defense at their misdemeanor trials.

Trump DISHONORS All Military Members! Sep 01, 2025

On January 6, 2021, Ashley Babbitt was a rioter and insurrectionist who was shot as she attempted to climb through a busted window of a barricaded door leading to the Speaker's Lobby as members of Congress were being evacuated from the US Capitol. While she was in the process of committing crimes by trying to breach the Capitol, she was shot and killed. Even though she was an Air Force veteran, Babbitt was rightfully denied military honors at her funeral . . . until now. The Air Force just reversed course (undoubtedly at the direction of Donald Trump), and will now give Babbitt full military honors. This horrific decision DISHONORS all of the men and women of the United States military, each of whom took an oath to protect the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

DC Grand Juries Tell Trump's DOJ "NO, We Won't Indict Protestors on Felony Charges!" Aug 29, 2025

It's a rare occurrence when a grand jury refuses to indict a case that a prosecutor urges them to indict. Yet Donald Trump's US Attorney for the District of Columbia, Jeanine Pirro, had grand juries tell her N0, they would NOT indict two protestors for assaulting police officers. In fact, those grand juries told here no FOUR TIMES!

One of the protestors threw a sandwich at an officer and another reportedly stepped between a scuffle with officers who were trying to detain someone due to the person's immigration status.

The grand jury sits as the conscious of the community and evaluates the evidence presented by the prosecutors to determine if there is enough evidence to indict someone on a felony charge. But the grand jury also is a check on prosecutorial overreach, abuse, and misconduct.

Trump-Appointed Judge THROWS OUT Trump's Lawsuit Against Maryland Judges! Aug 28, 2025

A Trump-appointed Judge, Thomas Cullen, has thrown out the lawsuit Trump had his DOJ officials file against ALL federal trial court judges in Maryland when the Chief Judge instituted a two-day pause on deportations to give the judges enough time to see if the Trump administration was violating the legal or Constitutional rights of undocumented immigrants that were being detained pending deportation. In a 30-page opinion that The New York Times called "scathing," Judge Cullen wrote, "Over the past several months, principal officers of (Trump's) executive (and their spokespersons) have described federal district judges across the country as ‘left-wing,’ ‘liberal,’ ‘activists,’ ‘radical,’ ‘politically minded,’ ‘rogue,’ ‘unhinged,’ ‘outrageous', 'overzealous', 'unconstitutional', 'crooked,’ and worse. Although some tension between the coordinate branches of government is a hallmark of our constitutional system, this concerted effort by the executive to smear and impugn individual judges who rule against it is both unprecedented and unfortunate."

Glenn discusses Judge Cullen's new court ruling and how the federal judiciary - including Trump-appointed judges - are trying to protect we the people from an abusive, corrupt and criminal president of the United States.

Trump Administration Again Detains AND THREATENS Kilmar Abrego Garcia! Aug 27, 2025

Abrego Garcia has fought the Trump administration multiple times and won. But Trump and company just can't quit violating Abrego's constitutional rights.

After DOJ lawyers lost a motion to keep him detained in connection with his criminal case in Tennessee, Abrego was released from prison and traveled home to his family in Maryland. However, when he went to his immigration appointment on Monday, Trump's officials put him back in custody again. Even worse, DOJ lawyers threatened Abrego that, if he didn't plead guilty to the Trumped-up criminal charges in Tennessee, they would deport him to Uganda. But if he did plead guilty (to crimes he says he didn't commit), then they would deport him to Costa Rica, where he would live as a free man.

Glenn says: This kind of threat is both vindictive and violative of constitutional due process guarantees.

Trump Uses the DOJ to Seek Revenge Against Adam Schiff Aug 25, 2025

Donald Trump is forever threatening to prosecute his enemies: Hillary Clinton, Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, Leticia James, Alvin Bragg, Jack Smith, Christopher Krebs, Miles Taylor, John Brennan, James Comey and on and on and on. Yet none of these individuals have been criminally charged. There are several reasons for the lack of criminal charges. One reason - there is a complete absence of evidence of criminal wrongdoing by the people on Trump's enemies list. Another reason - if Trump's DOJ tried to prosecute any of these people, they likely would have a strong "vindictive prosecution" defense. The most recent focus of Trump's revenge is Senator Adam Schiff. Glenn discusses why Sen. Schiff would have a strong vindictive prosecution claim in the event Pam Bondi was foolish enough, reckless enough, or unethical enough to bring criminal charges against Schiff.

Judge Calls Out Trump's DOJ for "Diversion" from the Epstein Files! Aug 25, 2025

A third federal judge has denied Pam Bondi's motion to unseal the Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell grand jury transcripts. Just as other judges had pointed out, Judge Richard Berman said Trump's DOJ is engaged in a "diversion" by seeking to have a judge unseal a grand jury transcript that has no new information in it while DOJ has the power and authority to release the Epstein files, which it previously promised the public it would do. Glenn reviews Judge Berman's new court filing and highlights why Trump and Bondi are trying to give the illusion of transparency while actually hiding the Epstein files from the public.

The Trump Administration has ACTUALLY COMPLIED with a Federal Court Order! Aug 22, 2025

Given that the Trump Administration has been involved in resisting, if not outright defying, federal court orders early and often, it may come as a surprise that they have complied with a court order requiring them to obey a federal law designed to promote transparency in how Trump and company are spending ("apportioning") our taxpayer dollars.

Glenn discusses the legal challenges brought by two pro-democracy nonprofit organizations - Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) and Protect Democracy, - to force the Trump administration with an important transparency law.

And Pam Bondi has tried to push the highly-regarded MPD Chief of Police Pamela Smith out of her job and install a Trump flunky named Terry Cole. Is it any surprise that the Trump administration is trying to push out a black female police chief and install a mediocre white guy?
