Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia has been fighting the Trump administration and Trump's dirty DOJ leadership for nearly a year now, ever since he was snatched up in violation his constitutional rights, stuffed on a plane, and sent to a prison in El Salvador, even though he had been convicted of no crime.

Ever since he was deprived of his constitutional rights nearly a year ago, Abrego has been fighting, and he has been winning - he's been defeating Trump's dirty DOJ leadership every step of the way.

Abrego was back in court, this time in Tennessee, in a criminal case that was brought against him by the Trump administration, in which he filed a motion to dismiss his case based on Trump's vindictive prosecution.

This was the long-awaited hearing - an evidentiary hearing - at which government officials testified and were cross-examined by Abrego's lawyers.

Fortunately for us, the great legal reporter Adam Klasfeld of All Rise News was in the courtroom. Adam gives us the blow-by-blow breakdown of what went on in court today.

Federal Judge Says: on Trump's Masked ICE Agents "An Anonymous Government is No Government at All" Feb 26, 2026

In case you're worried that the federal courts - the federal judges - are weakening in their resolved to hold Donald Trump and his flunkies accountable for their lawlessness and unconstitutional conduct, a federal judge of more than 30 years has said that, regarding masked federal agents roaming the street of American cities: "An anonymous government is no government at all."

Longtime federal judge, Joseph Goodwin, excoriated the Trump administration for sending masked agents into the streets of American cities to deprive people of their 4th Amendment right against an unreasonable searches and seizures and their 5th Amendment right to due process of law.

The courts continue to be points of light – beacons of light – amidst the Trump-induced darkness.

Are the Epstein files creeping closer to Donald Trump and other rich, powerful, influential, privileged people? Well, look at what happened to the person formerly known as Prince Andrew.

Once a criminal gets caught in the grips of the rule of law - things often start to happen. Being arrested and facing the prospect of prosecution for your crimes tends to have a way of focusing the mind on one thing in particular: 'how in the hell do I get out of this jam? What can I do to save myself?'

In a Ruling Against Trump, Judge Quotes "Ministry of Truth" from George Orwell's 1984 Feb 19, 2026

You might recall that, just a few weeks ago, the Trump administration tore down an exhibit in Philadelphia - a public exhibit that documented American history, including an exhibit about nine people enslaved by George Washington at his former home in Philadelphia.

On Presidents' Day, Judge Cynthia Rufe, (who, incidentally, was appointed to the bench by another George - George W. Bush) - quoted George Orwell's "1984" in her opinion. She ruled that the Trump administration likely violated the law and she ordered them to restore the slavery exhibit.

It seems the federal judiciary will not allow Trump and his flunkies to violated the law in their efforts to whitewash American history and try to bury evidence of America's original sin - slavery.
