Saban Syndrome is real | Late Kick Live Ep. 258 May 06, 2022

Show notes

Late Kick Live Ep. 258 features Josh Pate discussing the future of College Football after the recent explosion of tampering allegations within the world of NIL and the Transfer Portal. What sort of impact has Nick Saban had on the changes we’ve seen in the sport this year and over the last several years? How will the landscape continue to evolve and is there a difference in what can be done versus what should be done for the betterment of the sport itself? In other news, we dust off the Mood Tracker as Clemson steps into the spotlight. How are Tiger fans feeling about their program entering the 2022 season? When it comes to succeeding at the highest levels of College Football what is more important: goof culture or rich boosters? The bold predictions segment returns for another evening of proclamations like Tennessee winning the SEC East, Texas making the CFP, Purdue heading to the Big Ten title game, and Nebraska going bowling again. Also we dive into the Late Kick mailbag to discuss the truly pressing issues like metal bleachers versus chair backs and whether one can lead to a more raucous in-stadium environment.
