S3:181 Psalm 96 Sep 13, 2024

Show notes

Today, Timothy Ateek is back in the podcast studio with Emma Dotter to share how God used Psalm 96 in his time away this summer. This enthronement psalm calls us to worship God with a new song blessing His name, or his character and everything that is praiseworthy about Him. What is the song in our hearts to God? Is God reigning in our lives in such a way that we naturally want to share the gospel with others? Just as Israel was to be a light to surrounding nations, so we are to be a light not just in Dallas, Texas, but to the ends of the earth. Join us in evaluating our hearts and ascribing the glory He is due, which is far more than we are willing or able to give, yet He is worthy of all glory forever.

S3:176 Psalm 91 Sep 06, 2024

Show notes

Today, Jesse Collins is back in the podcast studio with Emma Dotter to talk about Psalm 91 and the security, deliverance and assurance we have in Christ. Jesse shares some of what he and his wife have walked through over the last year and how this psalm has been a comfort and hope. We live in a broken world, so suffering is not completely gone now. But we have hope knowing that God is present in our suffering, and he is our safe place. When we walk through suffering, we can lean into Christ as our hope and deliverance form sin and death, and press into that hope with other believers around us.
