A guy called to tell us that he is in an online relationship with a major country star. He says they only talk via Facebook Messenger, he’s never met her, and that she asks for gift cards. We tried to tell him that he was being scammed, but he would listen to us or anyone else.

Joey hit a big piece of rubber on the interstate on the way to work. Nancy and Karly call him out for it, Nancy sings the good morning song, and Joey turns both their mics down.

The dolphins at the Georgia Aquarium chose Tennessee to win the game against Syracuse. Nancy tried to make a reference to the Miami Dolphins that made no sense. Joey and Karly made fun of her, so she gave the silent treatment.

Joey wanted to talk about all of the different versions of the new Taylor Swift album and Karly got defensive.

DIY Joe painted his ceiling where the hole was and realized that he is going to have to paint the entire ceiling to make it blend in.

Hot Tea: Cracker Barrel released a new statement after all the backlash they have been receiving. Miley Cyrus wrote a song for her dad that included two of his favorite singers. Post Malone says he only did the SKIMS underwear shoot so more ladies would text him.

Nancy’s son Ben has decided that he wants to start going by Benjamin. We talked about nicknames and what other kids want to change their names to. We found out that Nancy tried to go by Elmo in College and that Joey’s first radio DJ name was “Bubba Smack Joey Tack.”

Joey and his family went to Windy Gap Younglife camp over the weekend. He had to stay in a cabin with other dads and sons. Unfortunately, he didn’t get there early enough to get a bottom bunk, so he had to sleep on a top bunk above another grown man. Then he lost his phone in the middle of the night and had to sneak around to find it before his alarm went off.

With the new cell phone ban in schools, kids have started trying to cheat the system by bringing burner phones to school. They give the burner or fake phone to the teacher and keep their real one.

Today is the 3-year anniversary of Nancy being on the radio! We played some audio clips from her first show.

Hot Tea: Hulk Hogan may have passed away due to a recent surgery’s complications. The creators of the new Mission Impossible movie put the entire movie on YouTube for free... but it was all in morse code. Deion Sanders has set a dress code and specific rules for his football players while they are on campus. He says he will send spies to campus to make sure they are following the rules.

Joey’s younger son is 8 years old and is attempting to read the Harry Potter books. He claims to be on the third book, however, when Joey asks him simple questions about the story, he doesn’t know the answer. He is still transitioning from “learning to read” to “reading to learn,” so we think he may just not be comprehending all the story.

Hot Tea: It is rumored that Morgan Wallen will not be submitting his newest album for Grammy Award consideration. Dollywood has a new flavor of Coca-Cola in honor of their 40th anniversary. It is described as creamy and cherry flavored and is only available in the park. A 40-year-old man got stuck in a kids slide at a playground and had to be rescued.

Someone in Joey’s neighborhood posted a video of a “suspicious person” walking up to someone’s porch, taking a photo, and leaving. The person had no idea that it was an Amazon delivery driver!

Hot Tea: Garth Brooks bought Luke Combs a brand-new Ford Bronco. Riley Green hurt his ankle dunking a basketball on the Pat McAfee show. A man hit a federal officer in the face with a Subway footlong sandwich.

Karly got a new app to help her be on her phone less. It’s called “Focus Friend” and it is a cartoon bean character that likes to knit socks. The more you “focus,” the more the bean can knit. The more it knits, the more decor you can get for the bean’s room.

Hot Tea: Swifties think that Taylor Swift may be playing the Super Bowl Halftime show based on some clues she may have left in the New Heights podcast. Denzell Washington says he can’t be “canceled.” Peta is coming after Mario Kart and wants them to remove Moo Moo Cow’s nose ring.

Nancy’s kids called her stupid becuase she really wants to buy two miniature donkeys. She claims that she has always wanted some. Joey thinks she will be all excited about it until they wake her up too early on a weekend.

AOL is discontinuing dial up internet. None of us knew that it was still available anyway.

Joey has been doing really good on his diet, but completely blew it at a church event last night. He felt bad about it, but still ate a “FatBoy” dessert.

Hot Tea: Taylor Swift announced her 12th album on a teaser video for New Heights, her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s podcast. Luke Bryan has canceled all of his Friday night concerts so he can be home to watch his son play football. Thieves broke into a store and stole thousands of dollars worth of Labubu dolls.

Country artist Nate Smith told Joey’s brother that he was intimidated by Joey back when Joey worked in California. Joey calls a former employee to see if he was actually intimidating or not.

Karly went to the movies to see Freakier Friday and loved it. Nancy’s son had the total opposite opinion on it. Nancy thinks Karly only liked it because Chad Michael Murray is in it.

Hot Tea: Zach Bryan got in a fight online and claimed that he will never play a show in Kansas City. Luke Combs released 14 song demos on a secret Instagram account. A woman got her arm stuck inside a game at Chuck E Cheese.

Nancy got poison ivy on her arms and was told to pour bleach on it to help. She took a video while doing it and posted it to our Facebook. It HURT! People called in to offer other home remedies for the poison ivy.

DIY Joe is back in action at his house. He has an unfortunate toilet incident that lead to the toilet overflowing. The bathroom is on the second story of his house, and the water started leaking onto the ceiling below. Joey had to cut a huge hole in his living room ceiling and isn’t sure if he will hire someone to fix it or attempt it himself.

After Karly talked about her trip to Texas being cancelled, an old man showed up at the station to see her. He brought her flowers, but made sure to mention that they were “cheap” flowers before he gave them to her.

The internet has taken a term from Star Wars and turned it into a slur for AI and robots. They are now calling them “clankers.”

Nancy’s 12 year old woke her up last night and told her he got some blood on his sheets from a scratch. She woke up this morning to find out he had actually spilled red Gatorade in his bed and lied to her about it. She was mad, so she woke him up at 4am.

Hot Tea: Kelly Clarkson’s ex husband passed away. Riley Green revealed that he prefers brunettes over blondes. A lady was dancing on her roof and fell down the chimney.

Joey witnessed an old man throw a temper tantrum at a self checkout.

Joey went to his younger son‘s meet the teacher last night. It was a little weird because they already knew the teacher since his older son had her a few years ago.

Joey and Nancy called their kids to give them a peptalk for the first day of school. Joey’s kids didn’t really care. Nancy’s son thought she was being suspicious.

Joey’s older son has 6th grade orientation today! Nancy asked if he was nervous. Joey says he hasn’t thought about it enough to know to be nervous.

Hot Tea: A zoo in Denmark is asking people to donate their small pets to be fed to the big animals at the zoo. Derek Dooley is running for Senate in Georgia. Someone in Louisiana got a ticket for going 1 mile under the speed limit.

We’re back from vacation!! Nancy slept a ton during hers. Joey had to wait in a long line at TYS.

Joey went to the new theme park at Universal Studios, Epic Universe. He and his family thought it was amazing. However, they waited 90 minutes to ride a Harry Potter ride, and Marvin didn’t think it was worth it.

Joey and Nancy missed a lot while they were gone. Reports came out that said Hulk Hogan had leukemia. Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson are dating. Carly Pearce hard launched a new boyfriend on Instagram.

A girl’s car got repossessed by a dealership, so out of spite, she purchased the rights to the dealership’s name. They had let the rights expire, so she was able to buy them. They are now in a legal battle.

Someone called in and tried to guess what Joey and Nancy look like. She said Joey is probably “a bigger feller.”

Karly’s dad went to Joey’s house to help him with electrical work and a skunk in the skunkinator. He told Joey and his kids a lot of bad (not funny) jokes. Joey can finally see how Karly can be annoyed with all the jokes.

Hot Tea: Emma Watson is banned from driving for 6 months. New “Uno Club Suites” are popping up across the country—think casino but with the card game Uno! A thief outed herself on Facebook because she was offended that a post called her “trash.”

TSA may be changing the rules on how much liquid you can have in a carry-on bag. Karly finally got her Real ID but hates that the photo is black and white. Joey says something to make her day.

Nancy and her family went to New York City this weekend. Her 12-year-old and his friend did not care about any of the iconic tourist spots. Instead, all they wanted to do was go to the ice cream museum. They also saw their first ever topless woman while walking through Times Square.

Joey saw the new Superman movie again and loved it! The guy sitting in front of him was in a full Superman costume. Karly went to Fanboy Expo and saw several Supermans and a few furries.

Hot Tea: Jelly Roll and Logan Paul are going to fight in WWE. George Strait is doing a concert to benefit the flood victims in Texas. Facial recognition was used to identify a woman who was twerking on top of a cop car.

Do you really have to wait 30 minutes after eating to go swimming? NOPE! It’s a myth!

When Nancy was flying to NYC, the plane had to make an emergency landing because the plane’s windshield SHATTERED! She then had to take a 3-hour taxi ride from Philidelphia to New York.

Karly caught a huge fish last night and it peed on her.

Joey and Nancy are going to be float masters at Beaver Creek Flotilla this weekend!

Joey and his family spontaneously went to Charleston over the long weekend. They got the car packed and had everything ready, but then the van wouldn’t start. They had to unpack everything and put it all into Joey’s electric car; which he doesn’t like to take on long trips because of charging.

While driving to Charleston, Joey got to see all of the damage on I-40 from the hurricane. It is way worse than he realized.

Nancy’s 12-year-old, Ben, is on a school trip to the Grand Canyon. She dropped him off on Saturday morning and enjoyed seeing all the different ways the parents were reacting to their kids leaving. She also hasn’t heard from Ben since he left – she's only gotten texts from the teachers.

Nancy’s son, Ben, won the citizenship award at school! She had to keep it a secret for days and force him to go to the ceremony.
