Hearing In Your Spirit Jun 03, 2018
    Show notes

Just as we have physical ears, we have spiritual ears where God speaks to us.Many times, God will speak things that contradict what we see with our eyes. That’s why we have to walk by faith and not by sight.People may tell you that you’ll never get well, circumstances may look like you’ll never get out of debt, never meet the right person, or never accomplish your dreams. But if you listen with your spiritual ears, you’ll hear a voice saying, “Healing is coming. You will lend and not borrow. New doors are about to open.” In a drought, God will talk to you about rain. In lack, He’ll talk to you about abundance. When you feel insignificant, like you’ll never make anything out of your life, He’ll talk to you about greatness. When you get in agreement with God then you will become what He says about you. You will have what He says you’ll have!

You Are a Child of Promise May 30, 2018

The Bible speaks a lot about our words. Proverbs 18:21 says, “The tongue has the power of life and death.” And James wrote, “Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires. Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things” (James 3:4–5). He recognized that although our tongue is a very small part of our body, it directs the course of our life for victory or defeat even when we’re in the midst of stormy, negative situations. Too often when we get in difficult situations, we forget the power that we have in our tongue and where it can lead us.You have to be strong with your words of faith as well as being strong in your thoughts. And the best way to get your thoughts to line up is to release your words of faith. Words reinforce what you think. Make God bigger than anything else that you see.

Recognizing Your Value May 27, 2018
    Show notes

Too often, we base our value on how somebody is treating us, how successful we are, or how perfectly we have lived our life. The problem is that all of those things can change. Joel wants to show you how your value doesn’t come from people or things; it comes from your Creator. You may feel average today, but 1 John 4:4 says, “You belong to God.” You are extremely valuable! Learn to recognize your value in who God made you to be and how He sees you. You are a child of the Most High God! This message will give you a fresh, new confidence in who God made you to be.

Express Gratitude Through Actions May 23, 2018
    Show notes

There is a principle in God’s Word that says, “Give, and it will be given to you” (Luke 6:38). “Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap” (Galatians 6:7). When you do something for someone else—take them to a doctor’s appointment, pick them up when their car is broken down, call them, cheer them up, do something that no one else can do for them—God’s going to do special things for you. When we go out and make someone else’s day, we’re saying, “God, thank You for making my day” because when you make someone else’s day, God will make your day. When God sees you blessing others, He blesses you, and there are no blessings to compare with the blessings of Almighty God.So make someone’s day, knowing that God is going to make your day.

He has the right people that are going to help you already planned out. He has solutions to problems that you can’t even see right now.You don’t have to live life worried about how things will work out anymore because God has promised in Psalm 138:8 that He will work out His plan for your life. Instead, release your faith and trust Him. His plan is better than your plan!

    Have a Compassionate Heart May 16, 2018
    Show notes

Compassion is powerful. Jesus didn’t just feel sorry for those in need. He didn’t say, “Oh well, that’s too bad.” No, His compassion moved Him to action. In the same way, 1 John 3:17 says about us, “If anyone…sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart of compassion against him, how can the love of God live in him?” We all have a heart of compassion that God wants to work through toward others, and it can either be open or shut. If it is shut off, God’s love cannot flow out of it, which I believe is the reason some of us are unhappy today. We’ve closed our heart of compassion. If we’re going to live the abundant life that God has given us, we need to stir up our heart of compassion and say, “God, open my heart and my eyes to see the people who need my love today.”

Manasseh is Coming May 13, 2018
    Show notes

Do you feel forgotten today? Have you gone through situations that are so painful and hard to forget, you don’t know how you’ll ever feel light again? If there’s anyone who understands heartache and betrayal, it’s Joseph. He was betrayed by his brothers, thrown into a pit, and eventually sold into slavery. But all along, God had a plan for Joseph. After his trials, Joseph ended up being in charge of all Egypt. He was blessed in such a way that he said in Genesis 41:51 (AMP), “God has made me forget all my trouble and hardship.” He named his son Manasseh which means in Hebrew “causing to forget.”Like Joseph, God wants to bless you in such a way that you won’t remember the pain of the past. You may feel forgotten, but God hasn’t forgotten about you. He’s seen your heartache and has collected every tear you’ve shed. He’s going to turn your pain around in such a way that you’re overwhelmed with His goodness. God is going to cause you to forget!

Live the Resurrected Life May 09, 2018
    Show notes

We recently celebrated the resurrection of Jesus in an Easter service, and now I want to encourage you to not just celebrate His resurrection but live the resurrection life He came to give us. How do we live this resurrection life? We have to take hold of everything Jesus has given us through His death and resurrection. He took your sin and shame, everything that would ever try to come on you, and He paid your debt in full. “He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west” (Psalm 103:12). We don’t have to walk in guilt and condemnation. We are free to go and live the resurrection life.

Remove the Grave Clothes Apr 29, 2018
    Show notes

God’s love for us is relentless, and His grace goes to the most unlikely places and people. But just as God used Jesus to raise Lazarus from the grave, God is counting on us to run after the hurting and to go after the broken. It’s easy to judge others, but underneath the dirt, the mess and bad decisions, there’s a son or a daughter of the Most High God. God is counting on us to represent His love and redemption to those in need. They may be bound on the outside, but like Lazarus, on the inside they’re a person of destiny. They just need someone to help remove the grave clothes. Will you be that person? Take time to make a difference in the lives of those who desperately need it. As you live life as a healer, lifter and a restorer, the seeds you sow will come back to you. You will rise higher and overcome your own obstacles!
