Nicki Minaj Finally Responds To Remy Ma With "No Frauds" But Was It Enough? Mar 13, 2017
    Show notes

Tonight we'll be discussing Nicki Minaj's response to Remy Ma. Nicki Minaj took the industry by surprise when she dropped "No Frauds" out of nowhere. The only thing Nicki didn't do was mention Remy by name but she didn't need to because it's 100% clear who she's talking to as she responds to some of the accusations from Remy's diss tracks. "No Frauds" features Drake & Lil Wayne and for the first time ever, Nicki Minaj is coming directly at Remy Ma. The question now becomes was Nicki's response good enough for her to hold on to her crown as Hip Hop's queen or has Remy officially snatched the crown away? We also have to ask if a trigger happy Remy should respond to Nicki's diss record. If Remy responded and her response didn't live up to Shether, would it take away from Shether's impact? How about the ghostwriting accusations that Nicki threw back at Remy? Do you think Remy wrote 100% of Shether? Some people think Papoose either wrote it or helped her write it. Did Nicki's response hit hard or did she wait too late and how does her response compare to the deadly haymakers Remy threw on "Shether"? We'll also be joined again by Raine, owner of "BossChick Battle League". It's time to break it all down here at "C.B.R." on "It's Real Talk Radio." Rather you're a Nicki fan, a Remy fan, or just a Hip Hop fan in general, it's gonna be a good one, so don't miss out! Do you think Donald Trump has lived up to his expectations so far or is he performed better or worse than expected? These questions and more will be discussed tonight as we dive in sharing our views with you. Remy Ma vs Nicki Minaj Mar 01, 2017
    Show notes

Tonight we discuss the battle going on between Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj. Nicki Minaj was featured on a track with Gucci called "Make Love" where Nicki seems to be throwing shots at someone who most think is Remy Ma and apparently Remy Ma also believes Nicki's subliminals were at her as well because she came back with a vicious verbal assault on Nicki Minaj titled "Shether", where she used the classic instrumental track "Ether", one of the greatest diss tracks in Hip Hop history. The impact of Remy Ma's "Shether" has been so big, YouTubers, Facebookers and the likes have been posting meme's and videos and even reaction videos and the looks and their faces have been priceless. Most people are saying if Nicki Minaj doesn't respond, she's gonna have to take a huge L from the Hip Hop community. Lucky for her she always has the Pop Culture community and her trusty Barbs to turn to. So tonight we will play both "Make Love" & "Shether" and then have a discussion on which diss was better, who's winning and why and what to expect from both artists next. Hip Hop heads, Remy & Nicki fans and Battle Rap fans, it's going down so don't miss out! Speaking of Battle Rap, we'll be joined by Raine who is a former Battle Rapper and now league owner of "BossChick Battle League." Known mostly for her classic battles in Queen Of The Ring, (a Battle Rap platform for the highly skilled and competitive female emcees, or should I say gladiators), Raine is a fellow emcee herself. Having stood toe to toe with some of the illest female battlers in the game, Raine won't hold back any punches in her views of this epic moment in Hip Hop history. Trust me, you don't wanna miss out on this discussion. Call In # 347-838-9540

Babies Having Babies Feb 22, 2017
    Show notes

Tonight on It's Real Talk Radio, we'll be discussing under aged girls having babies. We've even seen cases where girls as young as 11 are getting pregnant. That's right, 11! 11 YEAR OLDS ARE MIDDLE SCHOOLERS! This brings up tons of questions like what type of parenting is occuring at home and why these children are bold enough to take such a risk. But do you necessarily blame the parents in these types of situations? Even the best of parents can't monitor their children 24/7. So what do you do to try an prevent this happening to your 14 year old daughter? We've all been teens before and understand that once puberty hits, horomones start to sky rocket. Most adults struggle to gain self control of their actions when their horomones start raging, so is it fair to expect teenagers to act responsible when theirs rage? Does coming from a broken family play a crucial role in these outcomes? Are shows that endorse young pregnancies like "16 & Pregnant" to blame? Is there anything that can be done to help drop the rate of teen pregnancies? What if your 14 year old daughter was pregnant? Would you allow her to drop out of school and become a fulltime mom, or would you take on the added responsibility of watching and providing for the child, all while still working and whatever else you have going on in your social life, for the greater good of your daughter's education and for her to maintain a social life. Some think that a teen mom maintaining a social life with her peers is crucial in helping prevent depression and a serious meltdown. Do you agree and are you willing to make that ultimate sacrifice for your child? Here's the big one: Would you persuade or try to force your teenaged pregnant daughter to have an abortion? It's time to have a real talk with real people and there's no better place to do that then here on "It's Real Talk Radio."

Do You Think Black Wall Street Would Work Today? Feb 16, 2017
    Show notes

In acknowledgement of Black Histort Month, on tonight's show we'll be having a little history lesson on "Black Wall Street", its rise, its fall, and where blacks economically stand today as a result. For those who don't know, Black Wall Street originated in Tulsa, Oklahoma; a town you may have heard of for reasons unrelated to Black Wall Street. A lot of us may have heard of the term "Black Wall Street" but lack knowledge of its history, identity and place in African American history and there's no better time to have this discussion than in Black History Month. "Oklahoma became an official U.S. State in 1907. During the early 20th century, Oklahoma was a state in which many blacks took refuge as it posed a more promising and habbital life style for blacks. After starting their own community (originally known as "Little Africa" later named "Greenwood" and eventually known as "Negro Wall Street" later to be named "Black Wall Street"), blacks started to expand their community and economy by building more thriving businesses. Blacks were faced with racial segregation laws that prevented them from shopping anywhere other than Greenwood, which ultimately played to their advantage as their money continued to circulate within their own community. Blacks were literally creating their own economy. In the early 20th century, there was an attempt to make Oklahoma the "First Black State" which was significant in attracting blacks to migrate there. Blacks were thriving until racial tesions lead to one of the greatest tragedies in United States history. Lead by the alleged assault of a young black 19 year old shoe shiner, Dick Rowland, on Sarah Page, a 17 year old white young lady, arguably the biggest race riot in U.S. history broke out, causing millions of dollars in damages and an esitmated death total of 300 blacks. Travel Ban Placed On Muslims From 7 Countries: How Far Will Donald Trump Go? Feb 02, 2017
    Show notes

Things have really hit the fan now! Donald Trump, the 45th President of the United States, has recently placed a travel ban on Muslims from 7 different majority Muslim countries from entering the United States and the public is outraged! Why is the public outraged? Because the 7 countries with the ban don't have a history of producing terrorist who have attacked the United States on United States soil. These countries include Libya, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Sudan, Yemen and Somalia. This ban bars citizens from these countries from entering the United States for the next 90 days and suspends the admission of all refugees for 120 days. Since the announcement, there have been huge groups of Americans (Muslim and non-Muslim) pouring out into the streets to protest. Even celebrities have been speaking out about this move from the Trump administration. Needless to say, the majority of Americans aren't too happy about this and most are ready to be heard and are expecting an overturn on the ban. The U.S. Courts have now gotten involved and we've even seen senators, mayors and other big-time politics from different cities and states throughout the U.S. publicly speak out about what most perceive to be a biased and prejudice move from the Trump Administration. The United States Constitution makes it illegal for anyone including the president to single out a group of people based on race, ethnicity or religious beliefs as long as those beliefs don't compromise the safety and wellbeing of the United States and its citizens. However, there have been talks of loopholes in the constitution for the president as we all know not everything that applies to the rest of the country applies to the President. Well it's time to discuss it and there's no better place to have this discussion than right here on "It's Real Talk Radio." #ItJustGotReal Call In # 347-838-9540

Do You Trust Donald Trump As The 45th President Of The United States? Jan 25, 2017
    Show notes

On Friday, January 20th, Donald Trump was officially sworn in as the 45th President of the United States Of America. After running one of the most controversial campaigns in United States history and even losing the Popular Vote by an estimated 2 Million Voters to what would've been the first female President in Hillary Clinton, Donald J. Trump has pulled off one of the biggest upsets in the history of United States politics. He has made a ton of promises to the American citizens (with which seems to be a focus on 'Blue Collard' Americans) and now it's time for him to deliver. Protests have continued to take place showing that Trump isn't as liked and beloved as he may of liked to be but we all know he has himself to thank for that because of how he has run his campaign. Nonetheless, he is the Commander & Chief of the Free World and he plays a vital role in the future of America for the next 4 years. Do you think Donald Trump will live up to all of his promises and help get the economy back on track? Do you think Donald Trump will change his behavior and try to be more strategic about how he communicates so he won't come off as hateful and racist? Let's not forget the Inauguration just happened. What were your thoughts on that? We'll be sharing our thoughts on these topics and more, so don't miss out. #ItJustGotReal Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ItsRealTalkRadio? NFL 2016 Season - 2017 Playoff Review & Superbowl LI Predictions Jan 24, 2017
    Show notes

With the 2017 NFL Playoffs down to 2 teams, it's time for us to have a review on the entire 2016 NFL Season including the 2017 Playoffs and of course make Superbowl LI predictions. The 2016 like most NFL Seasons was no disappointment, the 2017 Playoffs on the otherhand were for those of us who like competitive, wire to wire games. Most of the games in the 2017 Playoffs ended in dominate fashion if not blowouts. So why is that? Why couldn't America's beloved Cowboys get pass a banged up, under-matched Packers team? Here's an even better one. Why hasn't anyone figured out the Brady/Bellichick formula? The New England Patriots are headed to their 7th Superbowl under the Belichick/Brady era and an NFL Record 9th Superbowl appearance overall. The 2016 Patriots finished their season with the best record in football and were on the upside of 2 blowout performances to go to yet another Superbowl and the high powered Falcons offense picked apart the Packers secondary putting up a 40 burger and sending that 'Bad Man' Aaron Rogers and his compadres home packing. This has been a bizarre NFL Playoffs in 2017 and only time will tell what Superbowl LI beholds but let's just keep our fingers crossed for a great game that will come down to the last quarter with 2 minutes to go! Trust me Football fanatics, you don't wanna miss out on this discussion. It's time to get down to the nitty gritty. #ItJustGotReal Call In # 347-838-9540
