Notre Dame has been really good on defense so far this season, but there’s still room for improvement. If they do that the Irish defense could be scary good to finish the season

Irish Breakdown's Sean Stires and Trevor Trowbridge answer We In/We Out questions submitted by IB subscribers. Some of today's questions include:
* We In/We Out the staff will continue this class without adding a QB and/or QB in the upcoming Portal season?
* We In/We Out: Will Mike Denbrock help Marcus Freeman hold coaches accountable after season? Do we think Denbrock will help push Freeman to dump dead weight? Chansi Stuckey was easy but a Gino Guidugli, or Joe Rudolph or Al Washington might be a tough sell job. Feel like with Al Golden and Denbrock they will not hold back their opinions.
* Bye weeks are BOOORING! We in or we out?
* Must move Jaylen Sneed & Preston Zinter to vyper … we in/out
* We in,We out: Guerby Lambert starts at left tackle vs. Stanford, then starts every game for the next three years
* We in/ We out? Georgia loses to Tennessee, and Texas. Finishing 9-3 they are not in Atlanta on championship weekend.
* In/Out: There will be zero teams undefeated by the time playoffs rolls around?
* This season, 3 of the power 4 conferences have a conference champion who has never won the conference before. We in or we out?
* We in or We out: Jonathan Taylor masked the coaching flaws of Joe Rudolph.
* We in / We out: If (God forbid) Riley Leonard gets banged up and can’t play for “a game or two”, Kenny Minchey would be the best temporary replacement because his game most replicates Leonard’s style of play (to compensate for the porous pass blocking of the offensive line).
* ND will finally figure out that play action passes are still legal in college football. They are allowed to run the ball and use play action to help control teams crashing the line of scrimmage…. We in/ We out
* We in We out: ND runs the table on remaining schedule and gets in the Playoffs barely.
* We in We out: ND will have the same coaching staff they currently have in 2025. No one forced out or leaves on their own for another gig.
* We In or We Out: Part of the negativity surrounding this years team is even when winning it hasn’t been that fun to watch.

Today's Rapid Fire topics include:
* Fill-in the blank... Riley Leonard being named the Senior Bowl offensive player of the week as well as being named to the Great 8 list by the Davey O'Brien Award for his play against Louisville is BLANK.
* Leonard currently has 374 rushing yards...which is one more yard than Jeremiyah Love’s 373. Which of them will have more rushing yards at the end of the season?
* Notre Dame and NBC determine the home game kickoff times before the season starts and they stick with them. But we know that when the Irish go on the road the other TV networks have a two-week window to determine their game times. Would you want Notre Dame and NBC to wait like ESPN and ABC does or do you like just knowing what the game times are going to be and sticking with them?
* NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was once the personal driver for then NFL commissioner Pete Rozelle when his career was starting in 1986.
-What NFL figure...past or present...would you want to chauffeur for a day?
-What Notre Dame figure would you want to chauffeur?
* Fill-in the blank...Army and Navy are tied for the American Conference lead and it’s BLANK that they could play each other in their conference championship game a week before they meet in their annual Army-Navy classic?
* New York Yankees radio announcer John Sterling retired earlier this season. But now that the Yankees are in the playoffs, they have brought him out of retirement to call postseason games. Do you Buy or Sell the move?
* We finish with a tribute to former Notre Dame baseball player Ross Brezovsky, who passed away this week after a long battle with cancer.
