So far, iTF has covered UFO's, serial killers and even massive flying insects. We now travel to the woods and hear a terrifying Sasquatch encounter from David. He contacted me and wanted to share his story, which is one he has told very few people to this day. It begs the question on behavior and what happens if you do in fact find yourself close to a place they would call home. Even worse, what if you ended up IN their "home?" It would seem this is what happened to David, and the consequences caused him to stay out of the woods for a very long time afterward. I myself have heard many encounter stories, but none like this one. Prior to hearing David's encounter...Ryan, Sam and I discuss a very sad update on the family near Area 51 who was being harassed by the Government, a video of a possible white Sasquatch that's been getting quite a bit of attention, and a story about a man being told to keep quiet after he hit a Sasquatch with his truck. It is time to begin what will be iTF's many brushes with true crime. What makes these people so different than you and I? Is it brain chemistry, learned responses? Whatever it may be, we find them fascinating and disturbing. Sam Shearon, Ryan Sprague and I first discuss Sam's experiences playing Dracula. Then we chat about New York ComicCon, and a little about Ryan's play," East in Red". Shannon then interviews Author and Investigative Journalist Robert Sberna, who authored the book: House of Horrors, The Shocking True Story of Anthony Sowell The Cleveland Strangler. Robert spoke to the surviving victims, their families and even Anthony Sowell himself. Anthony was arrested in October 2009 as a suspect in the murders of eleven women whose bodies were discovered at his Cleveland, Ohio, duplex at 12205 Imperial Avenue in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood. Sowell was even a decorated Marine, and during his seven-year Marine Corps career, Corporal Sowell received a Good Conduct Medal with one service star, a Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, a Certificate of Commendation, a Meritorious Mast, and two Letters of Appreciation. Purchase the book by my guest, Robert Sberna-House of Horrors: The Shocking True Story of Anthony Sowell The Cleveland StranglerROBERT SBERNA is a former daily newspaper reporter who now contributes to several national and regional publications. His articles have appeared in the Washington Examiner, US Magazine, the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Cleveland Magazine, Inbound Logistics, Neoconomist, Crains and Ohio Magazine.Find Robert at his website: RobertSberna.com and he is also the editor of TheCrimeBeat.com

David Paulides, author of The Missing 411 series joins me on this edition of iNTO THE FRAY.His previous works were centered in and around our National Parks. With his new book, Missing 411: A Sobering Coincidence, he takes a look at our cities and the highly unusual manner in which young college-age men are going missing and ending up dead in bodies of water. This is a fascinating group of profile points that makes for terrifying and strange conversation. Mister-Sam Shearon rounds out my team for iNTO THE FRAY. He encouraged me throughout the process of creating the show and is also the brainchild behind my logos, artwork and upcoming merchandise. I am lucky to call him a friend as well as a colleague and will be joining us on our many adventures down the rabbit hole. He has had many interesting personal experiences, a few of which we touch on in this episode. P.S. Send me the emails about your anomalous, large insect sightings. You'll understand why later.
But first, Ryan and I discuss big Interstellar news, and then touch on a flying humanoid report out of PA. His work has been described by the British press as "bizarre", "grotesque", "gruesome", and "groundbreaking". Shearon is known for his work in the field of cryptozoology, most notably for compiling artists impressions, of the Beast of Lytham from eyewitness accounts.

On this inaugural episode of Into the Fray, Ryan, Sam and I discuss strange and wonderful news of interest ranging from odd looking beasts in the UK to a family harassed and pressured by the government into selling their land near the famed Area 51. I then talk with Nick Redfern, prolific author and public speaker who has also appeared on countless TV and radio shows, spanning many Fortean subjects. Tonight, Into the Fray couldn’t welcome a more appropriate first guest. We cover much, much more than just UFO’s and his book, Close Encounters of the Fatal Kind.
