    The Throwback: Heels Crush Clemson in '96 Jul 16, 2021

    On the second installment of the second season of "The Throwback" podcast, we jump in the time machine and go back to late August 1996. While the temperature in Chapel Hill at kickoff time was blazing, perhaps nothing was quite as hot as Mack Brown's defense. Tar Heel Football Historian Lee Pace joins IC's Tommy Ashley and host Joey Powell for the game breakdown as UNC hosted Clemson to begin the 1996 campaign. Later, Joey goes one-on-one with a member of that defensive front as Mike Pringley joins to recollect his experience.
