On this episode, Matty and Natalie are joined by special guest Hilly Michaels (along with his collaborator Thomas Ferranti), whose “Calling All Girls” music video became an instant classic for us when it was featured on episode #242: MTV Days Before the MTV Craze. And now, Hilly joins us on the pod to talk about his career, from playing in one of his earliest bands with Michael Bolton, collaborating with Mick Ronson, joining & playing on Sparks’ Big Beat, signing to Warner Bros at the start of the 1980s, producing for a Danish new wave band on an island formerly inhabited by Nazis and more!
