Our host, Stan Holt, joins the In Wheel Time crew with the return of the Tailpipes & Tacos Cruise-in held the third Saturday of the month, weather permitting at the Lupe Tortilla's resturant, on Grand Parkway in Katy, Texas.
This cruise in pulls vehicles that range from a new Ford GT, pickups, Mustangs, Cameros, '32 Ford Highboy, and a lot of custom or restored vehicles. One of Boyd Coddington's build was at this event, a vehicle he built for his son.
In addition to being a great Saturday morning cruise-in, there are breakfast tacos, coffee, mimosas, and a lot of other breakfast items that are all for charity. The Queen of drag racing, Shirley Muldowney is a friend of Stan's, and all proceeds from the event go to 'Shirley's Kids', a foundation Shirley started several years ago.
Back in early 2019, Shirely came to one of the Tailpipes & Tacos events to help promote the charity. She spent over two hours signing autographs and talking with people that lined up to meet a real drag racing legend.
As we go through the event, we will have interviews with several of the attendees and hear about their vehicles as everyone seems to be really glad to see this event return.
In the Preowned Showroom, Jeff Dziekan is looking at a 2017 Chevrolet Corvette!
