At just 16 years old, Ashton roped like she was born for the big stage—calm, confident, and completely unfazed by the pressure. This wasn't her first WRWC buckle, but it was her first time on the heading side. After switching ends and navigating a tough season, she found her stride with Tammy—and together, they put down a run that brought the crowd to its feet.
Tammy Lewis is no stranger to the winner’s circle. A veteran in the women’s rodeo world, she’s been roping since before opportunities like this even existed. From winning breakaway and heeling titles in the early 2000s to jackpotting across the country, Tammy’s story is built on grit, consistency, and a love for the game. This time, it all came together in a one-header for $60K—and she made it count.
