Take a step. - Listen to Blake's message: Build the community, not a resistance - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbH3z8rj8vQ - Identify where you need to: repentant, apologize, schedule a coffee meeting, or remove a discontentment - Share what you identified with Heather and Jamie by texting "LIFE IN MOTION" to 23101

In this episode, Heather and Jamie talk about spiritual warfare as the act of resolving conflict in your life. Check it out!

In this episode, Heather and Jamie talk about getting out of our feelings and starting habits that dictate our desires.

Life is better in community, we want to hear what habit you're going to start this week. Text "LIFE IN MOTION" to 23101 and let us know.

It's Time to Get Real | Life In Motion Oct 05, 2021
    Show notes

Usually to get real with God you have to first get real with yourself and the people around you. This week, Heather and Jamie both talk about how this has played out in their lives recently and how uncomfortable it can be. Despite the discomfort, they found that it brought another level of freedom and progress in their journey with themselves and their loved ones. In this episode, Jamie gives an update on how her relationship with her son has been and she talks about how this process hasn't looked like what she thought it would be. Heather dives into how her internal dialogue has been affecting her ability to love her family well and how she's taking steps to work through that.

How do you handle conflict? | Spirit In Motion Sep 30, 2021
    Show notes

Conflict is inevitable. If you're experiencing conflict right now, that's NORMAL. Hopefully, that gives you some peace. In fact, we like to say that conflict isn't bad but the way we navigate it can be bad. So, how should you navigate conflict? There are definitely some really unhealthy ways to walk through conflict but did you know there is a Biblical way to navigate it.

In this episode, Whit and Adam talk about 3 questions around conflict. Check it out!

So, what about the Holy Spirit? | Spirit In Motion Sep 16, 2021
    Show notes

You can't read through scripture without seeing the work of the Holy Spirit in it. From Genesis 1, as He's hovering over the waters to Acts where He's the power behind every move and work of the first church, the Holy Spirit is all over scripture. So, how come He's so misunderstood? If you look at all the different churches, you'll likely see tons of different ideas of the Holy Spirit. So, which one is right? And what does it mean for me?

In this episode, Whit and Adam explore scripture and church history to find out who the Holy Spirit is and what His presence in our life means. Check it out.

How are you moving forward in this season? | Life In Motion Sep 13, 2021
    Show notes

Do you ever feel like you've not quite arrived at what your life is supposed to be? Maybe you're a little tired of feeling like you're behind and now you feel like you've wasted your life. Or at least the time you've had so far. Or how about going through life feeling like your relationships are all in order, feeling genuinely happy? Then, BOOM, conflict.

You might not have guessed it, but that's exactly where Heather and Jamie are at in life. Summer 2021 opened their eyes to areas of disappointment, striving, and tension and they want to change them. So, they've both decided to do something about it. They've both made appointments with doctors, therapists, and life coaches with the goal of becoming better versions of themselves.

You're invited to grow in this season with them. Every week, they'll sit down in the podcast studio and share with each other (and us) what they're learning and invite us to grow with them, to look at our lives, and let them be really, truly molded into the image of God.

We invite you to begin a journey of Jesus transformation with Jamie and Heather.

He grew up in church with his family, but something happened in his 20's. While following his career dreams, Isaac quickly completed his task of leaving God behind.

Is it okay to question authority? | Spirit In Motion Aug 19, 2021
    Show notes

In today's culture there's a growing trend towards being untethered and free from constraints - minimalism helps us to be free from the burden of stuff, tiny homes allow us to be free from being tied down, freelancing gives us the freedom to work how we want and when we want. We don't want anyone to tell us what we should do. Why can't we just do what we want? But what if there's something to putting down roots, trusting the authority God has placed over you, and staying committed even when things are hard? Take a listen as Whit and Adam dive into these ideas!
