Grant's Rant: 11-30-22 Kings-Pacers Nov 30, 2022

Show notes

Raise your hand if you thought the Kings-Pacers game at the end of November would feature two of the biggest surprises in their respective conferences. Both teams are off to an excellent start and both teams have to be very happy with last February's trade that brought Domantas Sabonis to Sac and Tyrese Haliburton to Indiana as the main pieces in a multi-player deal. Should be fun tonight!

Grant's Rant: 11-29-22 Get Off Fox's Back Nov 29, 2022

Show notes

The Kings De'Aaron Fox is having a marvelous season thus far as he has helped the Kings to a 10-9 record. Last night he had an off-night vs the Suns and I am puzzled by the criticism from many of the fans. I did a post-game show on YouTube last night and you would have thought Fox had played awful all season. Hey, the guy isn't a robot, he will have a bad game once in a while. Here's the bottom line, without Fox this year the Kings wouldn't have 5 wins!

Yesterday Odell Beckham Jr was removed from an American Airlines flight for not obeying flight crew instructions. According to the report from the Miami-Dade Police department, OBJ appeared ill thus the crew asked for medical assistance after he refused to fasten his seatbelt. Upon getting back to the gate he refused police orders to deplane the aircraft. Due to Beckham's refusal, the airline made everyone on the plane get off the aircraft. The plane ended up leaving two hours late!

I continue with stories from career and life, beginning with the great 49ers-Giants games in the late 80's and early 90's. I share my story of being at the Stick for the first time and then broadcasting my first game there 20 years later. I've had some amazing experiences such as being on the infield when the Dodgers won the World series in 1988. I've also met some incredible people and share many stories along the way during this unbelievable journey I've been on.
