Show notes

College Football needs to do something about their replay system. It is ridiculous. It disrupts the flow and rhythm of the game. Why does every questionable thing need to be reviewed. No wonder why the games takes forever to play. One more thing, is there anyone out there who thinks anyone could be Alabama or Georgia? The difference between them and the rest of the country is significant.

Grant's Rant: 10-1-21 Get The Pels Out Of Nola Oct 01, 2021

Show notes

New Orleans Saints and Pelicans owner Gayle Benson announced succession plans for the teams. She wants the teams to stay in Nola. She is also donating much of her estate to charity in the area. She is a great lady! With that being said the pelicans need to move. New Orleans isn't a basketball town. It's all about football. The city doesn't support the Pels. Move the team to Seattle, or another market that would support it!

Grant's Rant: 9-30-21 Josh Gordon Again? Sep 30, 2021

Show notes

Josh Gordon is back in the NFL as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes is a hell of a QB, but he obviously doesn't follow the league that closely. He was quoted as saying about Gordon "everywhere he's been, he's kind of dominated". He dominated his first season in the NFL. After that he dominated in suspensions! Gordon has let down every team he's been on. Time will tell in KC. but let's not get carried away!

Grant's Rant: 9-29-21 A Chicago Bears Mess Sep 29, 2021

Show notes

It looks like the Chicago Bears will have a long season. Last week's loss to Cleveland was a disaster with rookie QB Justin Fields getting sacked nine times. Head Coach Matt Nagy isn't naming a starting QB yet for this weeks game vs the Lions. Why? Name a guy...yes I know there are some injuries, but just say if this guy is healthy he will be the starter. Have you looked at their schedule the next month? If the Bears lose to the Lions Sunday things will go from bad to worse!

Grant's Rant: 9-27-21 Last Night's 49ers-Packers Game Sep 27, 2021

Show notes

What a game last night! Other than the officiating that is...what an embarrassment for the NFL. Just awful!!!! The 49ers didn't lose the game because of Jimmy Garoppolo so cool it with the Trey Lance talk. Anyone still think Aaron Rodgers isn't into playing for the Packers and where is the 49ers defense? They allow the Packers to go down the field with :37 left and no time outs??? AWFUL!!!!!!
