Grant's Rant: 10-19-21 Bagley Needs To Earn Extension Oct 19, 2021

Show notes

Good job by the Kings front office not to give Marvin Bagley and extension on his rookie deal. He hasn't earned, nor does he deserve it. Bagley will become a restricted free agent next summer. It is up to him to determine his market value something he hasn't done yet!

Episode 110: NFL'S Double Standards and Hypocrisy! Oct 19, 2021

Show notes

On today's show I talk about Jon Gruden and the noise his resignation has created in this country. I read an article by Phil Mushnick from the New York Post detailing the hypocrisy of Roger Goodell when it comes to the league's messaging. Mushnick feels the Super Bowl halftime shows are a great illustration of the league's double standards when it comes to race and ethics. He references Snoop Dog among others as examples of the league's mixed messaging! Do you agree with Mushnick or is rap music just entertainment like going to the movies?

Gran't Rant: 10-18-21 A Giants Embarrassment Oct 18, 2021

Show notes

The New York Giants are 1-5. Since 2017 they have the worst record in the NFL. After being embarrassed by the Rams at home yesterday defensive lineman Leonard Williams said he was bothered by the fane booing! Really? Who the hell would go to the game and not boo? Play better and the fans won't boo. Pretty simple!

Grant's Rant: 10-15-21 An MLB Embarrassment! Oct 15, 2021

Show notes

How bad was the check swing call in San Francisco last night? Are you kidding me? What a joke! The two best teams in baseball play a classic elimination game and it ends like that? Can't have it! Something else you can't have...you shouldn't play a team in your own division in the divisional round! Stupid!
