Grant's Rant: 11-11-21 Sac Kings Embarrassed Nov 11, 2021

Show notes

What a start to the road trip for the Sacramento Kings last night. They get blown out by the Spurs giving up 136 points. DeAaron Fox finally had a good game with a season high 37 points, but it didn't matter. And the only player not to get in the game? It's Marvin Bagley. I explain more on my rant!

Show notes

The San Francisco 49ers are 3-5 and are coming off a bad home loss to the Cardinals who were missing their best players due to injury. Grant's Rant: 11-9-21 Sac Kings Identity Nov 09, 2021

Show notes

I thought the Sacramento Kings identity this season was going to be defense. That's all I heard from coaches and players during the pre season. After last night's loss to the Phoenix Suns the Kings have the 5th worst defense in the conference. Yes it is better than last season, almost impossible not to, but it is difficult to win consistently giving up nearly 110 points per game.

Episode 116: Thom Brennaman Nov 09, 2021

Show notes

On August 19th, 2020 Thom Brennaman was announcing the Cincinnati Reds game. He uttered a gay slur over a "hot mic" seconds before coming back to "live" action. He was subsequently fired by the Reds and Fox Sports. Brennaman's apologies were ridiculed by many and on this episode he talks about what his life has been like since that night. We also talk about cancel culture and my situation! It is a great listen!

Grant's Rant: 11-8-21 Sac Kings Inconsistencies Nov 08, 2021

Show notes

Sacramento Kings are 5-5 thru the first 10 games of the NBA season. That's pretty good when you look at their schedule. What's not good is their 4th quarter play and that of DeAaron Fox who currently looks like the most overpaid player in the NBA. That needs to change soon if the Kings expect to be a playoff team. Last night the Kings followed up their best performance of the season with a 94-91 loss to the Pacers. Again. many inconsistencies!
