Grant's Rant: 4-5-23 Delusional Shannon Sharpe Apr 05, 2023

Show notes

FS1's Shannon Sharpe actually believes that Joe Biden may lose the Whiter House in '24, because our First Lady, Jill Biden invited the women's Iowa Hawkeyes basketball team to the White House. Yup, Sharpe actually said that. Of course, Sharpe's reasoning was race based. Shocking huh? You just can not make this up!

Episode 244: Black vs White, Again! Apr 04, 2023

Show notes

On today's episode I discuss what happened after the LSU-Iowa Women's National Championship game. Iowa's standout player Caitlin Clark made a "John Cena hand gesture" earlier in the tournament, but when LSU's Angel Reese did it after the game, she was criticized by many. Clark is White and Reese is Black, thus the attacks of racism began. The problem is, if we are being objective, the two acts of taunting were not similar and yet that is being glossed over by the national media members who are declaring racism. I discuss the commentary of Shannon Sharp of FS1 and Stephen A. Smith of ESPN. Both commentators said the incidents were exactly the same. Again, I don't know how any person can make that claim. The bottom line is race is once again at the forefront of an incident due to different opinions. It is a disturbing trend, and we should all think twice about why that is.

Grant's Rant: 4-4-23 Talking About The Wrong Things Apr 04, 2023

Show notes

The Women's National Championship game between Iowa and LSU was the most watched women's game in history with 9.9 million viewers. It is a shame thought that almost all of the conversation is centered around Iowa's Caitlin Clark and LSU's Angel Reese. Clark is White and Reese is black and unfortunately the narrative has turned into claims of racism due to the criticism towards Reese for her taunting at the end of the game.

Grant's Rant: 4-3-23 Another Bad Home Loss Apr 03, 2023

Show notes

What's the deal with the Sacramento Kings at home? They lost again on their home floor yesterday, this time to the lowly Spurs. With one home game remaining the Kings are now 23-17 at home. That is alarming to say the least!
