Grant's Rant: 12-29-21 Aaron Rodgers Is Spot On Dec 29, 2021

Show notes

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers is getting killed again for his comments regarding Covid. He was on the Pat McAfee Show on SiriusXM and said " when did we lose the ability to respect somebody's opinion"....he is spot on. He has made it clear that his comments on Covid are how he feels...his opinion, but obviously many people can't handle that! What a sad commentary!

Grant's Rant: 12-28-21 Now What Niner Fans? Dec 28, 2021

Show notes

Yesterday is was revealed by ESPN that 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo suffered a torn ligament as well as a fracture in his thumb on his throwing hand. On Friday past I did a rant on how I thought Jimmy G was one of the most underappreciated players in the NFL. He was getting killed by fans and members of the media after Thursday's loss at Tennessee. Now what do you say 49er fans? You wanted Trey Lance and it looks like you will get Trey Lance. I think the 49ers will miss Garoppolo a lot assuming he is out of action.

Grant's Rant: 12-27-21 Gutless! Dec 27, 2021

Show notes

The Sacramento Kings were so bad last night that Coach Alvin Gentry called it absolutely ridiculous and the most disappointed he's been in 34 years of coaching. It doesn't get much worse that that....but actually it does. Gentry also questioned the team's pride. That is pretty much rock bottom. And what the heck has happened to DeAaron Fox? His post game presser last night was embarrassing! Is he now just a paycheck guy? Did he get his max deal and check out? It sure looks that way to me!

Grant's Rant: 12-24-21 Jimmy G With No Respect Dec 24, 2021

Show notes

The 49ers lost to the Titans yesterday and it was not a good game for Jimmy Garoppolo. Of course the fans and media killed the guy after the game. When the 49ers win Jimmy G doesn't get the praise he deserves and when they lose he stinks. If I'm him I'd want to get out of San Francisco and go where I'm appreciated. To me the 49ers are going to be in the playoffs. They just lost to a very good Titans team. Relax for crying out loud!

Grant's Rant: 12-23-21 Another Awful Performance For Kings Dec 23, 2021

Show notes

Last night the Kings scored only 89 points in front of another small crowd in Sacramento as they lost to the Clippers. Yes the Kings were shorthanded due to Covid, but so were the Clippers. How much longer before the Kings make a move? This can't continue can it? Is this rock bottom? Let's hope so!

Grant's Rant: 12-22-21 Power Rankings? Dec 22, 2021

Show notes

Why are there power rankings in sports? What is the purpose? Isn't that why we have standings? I have never understood the reason behind power rankings. Is that how we will determine the NFL Playoff participants....Just go by power rankings? Stupid!!!!!
