He was involved in church work at a very young age and traveled with his family, who ministered as evangelists. After sensing his call to preach, Bro. Killmon and his sister served as youth leader for two years in Brazil, Indiana, before attending Indiana Bible College, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Theology. He then went to Christian Theological Seminary where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Master of Divinity Degree. Bro. Killmon currently serves as one of the teachers in the Young Adult ministry at Calvary Tabernacle. He is married to his wonderful wife, Amy, with one son, Joel.
This week, Rev. Evangeline Rodenbush met her eternal reward. This message from Sis. Rodenbush comes from a 2013 Music Fest in which she preached a convicting sermon, "Does Anybody Care?"
Since 2014, Sis. Rodenbush has faithfully served as an instructor at Indiana Bible College, alongside her husband, Rev. Robert K. Rodenbush. We are grateful for her having invested so many years into the lives of the students at Indiana Bible College. She was a true Christian example.
Through the years, Bro. and Sis. Rodenbush pioneered a home missions church in Cutler, Illinois, dedicated 42 years in missionary service to the United Pentecostal Church International, and traveled and preached in more than 140 nations. As a team, Bro. and Sis. Rodenbush have dynamically affected countless lives for the gospel and have exemplified excellence in spiritual leadership.

It’s not just a term for real estate, but it’s also the title of our chapel sermon from Rev. Randy Adams. Rev. Adams and his wife served as pastor of a home missions church before being appointed to Togo and Benin in 1995; they opened the Bible school in Togo in 1997, were appointed UPCI Area Coordinator of French West Africa in 2002 and proved instrumental in the opening of several countries in West Africa. They also led the church in Togo and Benin to become nationalized in 2012. They were appointed as Area Coordinator for all West Africa in 2012; and were appointed by the UPCI general board as Regional Director for Africa in 2015. Truly, his ministry is one of being on location.
His sermon today is full of nuggets he has found from being on location in service to the Kingdom and it would not surprise anyone if this sermon resonated with your life and ministry. Because what is service to the Kingdom outside of location? Growing where God has placed you, digging deeper into His word, and searching a greater understanding of Scriptural truths.

Rev. Bobby J. Killmon, Dean of Biblical Studies at Indiana Bible College preaches to the student body of Indiana Bible College, "The Dangers of Spiritual Manipulation."
Indiana Bible College is committed to training tomorrow’s Apostolic leaders today. This is the Indiana Bible College podcast.
On September 27, 2020, the Indiana Bible College family suffered a loss. Quincey was in his senior year. He was a preacher, a soul winner, Senior Class Vice President, and a student of the Word of God. He has been described as a glue, someone who could bind friends—and while we lament the loss of this “glue”, we should also know that the culture Quincey generated with his energetic and magnetic personality remains. His “stickiness” is still present. All of those who knew Quincey will be held together for a very long time precisely because they knew him.
He lived each day with a love for truth and an eye toward his calling. His going to heaven as a young man is difficult for us to understand, but we trust in God’s sovereign plan. Our lives are and will be forever better for the testimony of the life of Quincey Coffey.
We have established the Quincey Coffey Memorial Scholarship for those who wish to join in honoring this incredible life. Making a donation is simple and can be done by following the link in the show notes.
Today on the podcast, we want him to share that testimony with you.

Today, on the podcast we have an interview with veteran missionary and Indiana Bible College instructor, Rev. William Turner. William Turner and his wife, Elizabeth, served for 36 years as missionaries of the United Pentecostal Church International, first in South Korea, and then to Russia and the 15 nations of the former Soviet Union. They were the UPCI’s first fully appointed missionaries to Russia and in 1993, when the communist rule collapsed in an aborted coup against the government, they were living in Moscow. Rev. Turner served as area coordinator for those 15 formerly communist nations. He is a graduate of Indiana University. He holds a B.A. in government and journalism.
His insight is so great.
This conversation began around a Kurieg at Indiana Bible College when Rev. Turner walked in to the room and stated, “I have tried to explain to my students in class what they are going to need in order to have revival in these times.” What followed was such a wonderful discussion that we invited him to continue the talk here, on the podcast, for you.
Long time listeners may have already enjoyed chapel sermons preached by Rev. Turner, but you will certainly enjoy this interview here on the IBC Podcast.

In this new mini-series, we're sitting down and looking at the Bible. We love preaching, we love guest ministers, we love interview content, but it's a beautiful thing to pull the meaning out of the word of God and apply it to our lives. In this new mini-series, our goal is to exegete Scripture and make meaningful application.
Today, we sit down with our Dean of Biblical Studies, Rev. Bobby Killmon and explore Proverbs 17:2.
Rev. Jennifer Mast has been on-staff at Indiana Bible College since the Fall of 2004, where she serves as the registrar and an instructor in the Biblical studies department. Mast does at IBC and for her candid vulnerability in sharing much of her personal testimony in this sermon.
In the near future, we also hope to have Sis. Mast join us in the Expounding the Text Mini-Series coming out each Tuesday.

Each year, IBC students take a pause on classes and reach out to the community in a time we have called Reality Week. However, it isn't a full week of cancelled classes and neither is it just a week - it is an exposure to reality, a reality that we hope becomes a burden for souls.
Rev. Jim Sleeva has been at IBC for 31 years and has a passion for and serves the Urban Missions department at Indiana Bible College, a branch of the Missiology Department. Urban Missions Club coordinates IBC Reality.
This episode is a glimpse into the outreach, the concerts, the connections, and the testimonies. We hope exposure to this episode breeds a burden for more real world exposure to the needs around you.
Rev. Jim Sleeva is going on his 31st year at Indiana Bible College. Brother Sleeva was a missionary to Germany for 17 years and his focus at Indiana Bible College has been on personal evangelism in our urban areas. He serves as the Chair of the Urban Missions department here at Indiana Bible College and is the staff advisor for the Urban Missions Club. He has a passion for souls and seeks to expose students to the spiritual needs surrounding them. As he often says, "Exposure breeds a burden."
#IBCREALITY19 is a time where the student body focuses on reaching souls and outreaching to the community. This service precedes this emphasis. We hope you catch something and get your ministry and worship outside the box.

We hope you enjoy this kickoff to what we expect to be a Spirit lead and fantastic school year.

The Torch Bearer, Author Uknown. It is a poem our President, Paul D. Mooney likes to read each year to graduates as a reminder. If you're an IBC Alumni, you've no doubt heard it. It's a great reminder and holds special meaning read by Rev. Paul D. Mooney - a man who has bore the torch boldly.
The Torch Bearer
The God of the High Endeavor
Gave me a torch to bear.
I lifted it high above me
In the dark and murky air;
And straightway with loud hosannas
The crowd proclaimed its light
And followed me as I carried my torch
Through the starless night,
Till drunk with people’s praises
And mad with vanity
I forgot ’twas the torch they followed
And fancied they followed me.
Then slowly my arm grew weary
Upholding the shining load
And my tired feet went stumbling
Over the dusty road.
I fell with the torch beneath me.
In a moment the light was out.
When lo! from the throng a stripling
Sprang forth with a mighty shout,
Caught up the torch as it smoldered,
And lifted it high again,
Till fanned by the winds of heaven,
It fired the souls of men.
And as I lay in the darkness
The feet of the trampling crowd
Passed over and far beyond me,
Its paeans proclaimed around,
And I learned in the deepening twilight
This glorious verity,
‘Tis the torch that the people follow,
Whoever the bearer may be.

Student Body Secretary, Megan Nanney speaks to the student body in chapel on the topic, "Who is the Lord?"
Megan Nanney has an incredible testimony. Here is an excerpt of her testimony in her own words from a Facebook post from March 6th:
Today marks 8 years since God miraculously healed me at an altar. Growing up I had Cyclic Vomiting syndrome, a nervous system disorder, along with other things. Basically the quality of my physical life was low. I visited and stayed at the hospital countless times. I had hope though because I knew God, and I knew He had a purpose for my life...even though everyday was becoming a struggle. But March 06, 2011 God showed Himself to me as my healer, and COMPLETELY healed my body. God is faithful! Since then He has brought me out of fears, anxiety, and insecurities & doubt. My God doesn’t just heal physically, but He is the God of new life (2 Corinthians 5:17). He has given me new dreams that I never thought I would be able to dream in a purpose that only He can give. I never want to let this day pass without remembering what He has done for me. He deserves all of the glory!
“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”-Isaiah 53:5
We trust you will enjoy Megan's ministry, passion, and heart.

Multiculturalism, as used in this interview (as is clear from the context), is not in reference to the acceptance of ethnic groups, but rather cultural values. Implicit within the idea of multiculturalism (for many) is the idea of cultural relativism or the idea that there are no absolute values by which to judge a culture's moral content. This aspect of multiculturalism is what this interview is addressing.
