Show notes
For the Season One Finale of Hye Jams: Between the Notes, Paisan Kapitan sits down with one of his most anticipated guests yet — Prophet Lovy Elias — for a conversation that goes places few interviews dare to go.
Some will watch as believers. Some will come curious. Some may come skeptical.
This episode is for all of them.
Prophet Lovy takes us back to Kenya and the extraordinary encounter he says changed his life forever: meeting Jesus at just six years old. From there, Paisan goes straight into the questions people want answered. What exactly is the prophetic? How does a prophet hear from God? Can the prophetic reveal things no one else could possibly know? And in a world filled with people claiming to speak for God, how do you know what’s real?
But this conversation goes far beyond the pulpit.
Lovy opens up about betrayal and personal attacks — including some that came from people he loved, trusted and personally helped — and explains why he believes the pain and opposition that accompany a calling can actually become part of the journey.
The conversation gets even heavier as Paisan and Lovy discuss the growing attacks on Christianity around the world, persecution, fear, speaking boldly about faith and what Lovy believes Christians are facing in the years ahead.
Then there’s a side of Prophet Lovy you may not know.
He shares his deep love for the Armenian people, the community that helped embrace him as his ministry was beginning in Los Angeles, and why today he proudly considers himself an HONORARY ARMENIAN — “Lovy Jan.”
We also leave the pulpit behind and find out what normal life with the Prophet actually looks like — marriage, kids, traveling, sushi, martial arts, getting corrected by God and whether having a prophetic gift makes it nearly impossible for your family to get anything past you.
And then… JON JONES.
Lovy tells the remarkable story of his relationship with UFC Champion Jon Jones, becoming his spiritual advisor, praying with one of the greatest fighters in MMA history, and the prophetic story behind the spinning back kick that helped Jones finish his championship fight at UFC 309. Paisan even has a surprise waiting for Lovy that leaves the Prophet nearly speechless.
And because this is Between the Notes, somehow we eventually arrive at one of mankind’s most important theological questions:
DO ALL DOGS GO TO HEAVEN?
Yes. Paisan actually asked him. 😂
Faith. Miracles. Prophecy. Betrayal. Christianity under fire. Armenia. Family. Jon Jones. Dogs in heaven. And plenty of laughs in between.
Paisan delivers what may be his most personal, powerful and entertaining interview yet, ending Season One exactly the way it should end — with an unforgettable conversation, a heartfelt prayer, and a reminder of what Between the Notes has become.
This isn’t just another episode.
This is the Season Finale you don’t want to miss.
