    BTB #124: Scout's Eye Preview | Broncos at Bills | Week 12 Nov 23, 2019
    Show notes

Nick Kendell and Carl Dumler preview the Broncos Week 12 matchup as the team heads out east to square off against the Buffalo Bills. The Bills are 7-3 and are second in the AFC East. Despite the great record, Buffalo is hardly a battle tested squad as they have faced a line of weaker opponents so far this season and fallen to almost all their good competition. Still, this Bills team is talented and should give Denver a challenge. While Josh Allen may get the attention, as is the case with highly drafted quarterbacks, this Bills run game and defense is what carries the team. Allen, much like a young Cam Newton, has amazing tools and arm talent but is not consistent with his touch nor accuracy. He does have a pretty scary connection with wide receiver John Brown. On defense the Bills are one of the best against the pass with a dominant safety duo and a great corner in Tre'Davious White, while also getting after the passer. They have struggled however against the run so far this season. Can Denver walk away with a win, or will they further move up the draft board with another loss?

Nick Kendell and Carl Dumler reflect on the Broncos' up and down performance coming off of a loss to the Vikings. How is Brandon Allen and how does his two weeks of game-tape play into where he fits on this team going forward? Is it time for Drew Lock? All that and more today on BTB.

    BTB #122: Scout's Eye Preview | Broncos at Vikings | Week 11 Nov 16, 2019
    Show notes

Nick Kendell and Carl Dumler preview the Broncos' Week 11 matchup as the team heads off to Minnesota to play the Vikings. The Vikings are one of the best teams in football this season and playing good football on both sides of the ball. With a rejuvenated offense led under the watchful eye of Gary Kubiak and MVP candidate Dalvin Cook, the Broncos are going to have a real challenge showing they have improved their run defense since the Leonard Fournette fiasco from earlier this season. Also, while this isn't your typical all-world Vikings defense, the unit is still littered with talent with arguably the best edge duo in football and upside talent in the back seven. Also Nick is joined by good friends Patrick Howell and Kyle Hudson, two Vikings stuck in Chicago, to discuss this year's Vikings team and what makes them 'tick'.
