Did you know that there is NO sacred/secular split in God’s eyes. The earth is the Lords and the fullness thereof (Ps. 24:1), so nothing on this earth is secular. Nothing is satan's. It is ALL God’s. So any job I do is my ministry unto the Lord and His service through me to all of humanity. This includes construction/architecture, sewing, teaching others these crafts, etc.

15 My Sister May Have Coronavirus – An Email of Support Apr 06, 2020

Show notes

I received an email in the last 24 hours that my sister has been terribly sick for many days, with a fever of 102. Her doctor has had her tested for the Coronavirus, but it will be ten days before the results come back so we are not 100% sure of the diagnosis. Either way, right now she is separated from her family, afraid and in pain.

At times like this, the patient feels so isolated and terrified concerning what might happen. I sent her an email of encouragement to make sure she knew she was loved and not alone, and that her brothers and sisters are praying for her and with her in our hearts. But her email made me realize that this is one of the cruelest aspects of this virus - that it forces its victims to suffer alone, away from their loved ones who want to be there for them. So I want to encourage any of you, as well, who may be facing illness right now with the same message I shared with my sister.

14 Tongues Are Like Sniper Guns Mar 26, 2020

Show notes

Praying in Tongues is a manifestation of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12:7-11). It is a gift from God, enabling us in our prayer lives. When we pray in tongues, we speak mysteries to God and build up our spirits. Sounds really good to me! Why wouldn't I want to do this?

For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself. I wish you all spoke with tongues (1 Cor. 14:2-5).

13 We ALL Need a WONDERFUL COUNSELOR as Covid 19 Becomes a Worldwide Pandemic Mar 16, 2020

Show notes

The amazing thing is that we DO have a Wonderful Counselor! Yes, it is true schools and colleges and sporting events have shut down. Businesses, stores, cruises, and theme parks have closed. Nations have sealed their borders. Fear is ready to surmount reason.

In the midst of this, the Bible says:

For a child will be born to us … the government will rest on His shoulders… His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace (Isa. 9:6).

Every one of us needs to hear from our Wonderful Counselor NOW! He tells me, “For heaven’s sake, celebrate!” When we celebrate, 1) we declare that God is in control and our trust is in Him; 2) we become beacons of hope to a frightened world; 3) our immune systems are strengthened. Not bad from just four simple words from our Wonderful Counselor. And guess what? He has a lot more to say than four simple words!

You can hear His voice every single day as we walk through this crisis. You can be restored to faith, hope and peace every single morning during your devotional time as He speaks to you.

Are you hearing the voice of your Wonderful Counselor?

Show notes

The Dream: I dreamt that I suddenly died at 7:30pm. I was in heaven with Jesus. I said, “It's not my time,” and something like, “What about my family and the others that still need to hear?” Jesus said, “You don’t want to be here yet? I said, "No, not yet."

11 Prophetic Prayer Releases Kingdom Promises Mar 03, 2020

Show notes

Prophetic prayer begins by hearing God’s voice in your heart. For me, this comes as flowing words which just appear. For example, as I was wondering how to pray for a situation in which there was animosity, the following phrase appeared effortlessly within me as a spontaneous, flowing thought.

“My peace which surpasses all understanding shall fill their hearts and their minds, their sleep, their dreams, their bedroom, their home and their office.”

It was clear to me that I was to pray and speak this prophetic reality into the situation. This was the way God was moving in that situation. The phrase came to me day and night over three weeks, and each time it came, I declared in faith that this was God’s will, purpose and promise concerning this situation. This is prophetic prayer. In each case the timing of the fulfillment comes from the Lord. In this case, after three weeks I received a wonderful letter of peace! Prayer answered! Thank You Lord!

09 Suicide Averted Through a Vision, Compassion and Intercessory Prayer Feb 19, 2020

Show notes

Let me share an amazing email I received this last week. It relates to a truth discussed in our most recent book. I have been given permission to post this wonderful testimony with the names omitted.

She writes: In the book Unleashing Healing Power Through Spirit-Born Emotions you write that "Observation causes Transformation" is so fascinating to me. It explains a deep mystery that I had experienced. I was in prayer with the Lord and started to pray for my daughter who has struggles with mental illnesses including depression.

This particular day I saw her in my prayer in her room but there was thick white webbing stuff that almost went to the ceiling. I asked the Lord what this was, and as I got closer I could see my daughter inside it. This alarmed me and again I said, "Lord, what is this?" He let me see her close up and she was just lying there; it seemed like she was lifeless. Again I asked Him, "What's wrong?" He picked up her arm and it was limp. I knew this was very wrong and I was afraid.

I asked Jesus, "What do we do?" and He led me to roar at that white stuff. I roared (something taught in Chapter 4 of the book), clawed and tore it away from her, and then Jesus quickly came, picked her up and did mouth-to-mouth resuscitation on her. This whole vision lasted about a day. Every time I could go back to it (because I was at work), I would see it continuing.

By the way, I did text my daughter and I didn't get an answer. This was the normal time for her to be in her classes so I didn't really know what to do. I thought about calling the college to see if she was okay but was going to after her last class. Throughout the day I saw this vision progress. Color started to come back into my daughter as Jesus continue to do mouth-to-mouth. The color went all the way down to her feet and there were little rainbows all over her. Jesus sat her up and she could sit on her own so I knew she was okay but her eyes still had white stuff on them. I asked Jesus if He could heal her eyes and He touched them with his thumbs and held them there until the white stuff came off. Now she was sitting up and He was holding her and talking to her, and I felt a lot better.

Finally my daughter texted me back and she said she's fine, nothing's going on, she's okay. I called her that evening and she sounded fine but very busy. I was very puzzled about why I had this vision and experience. It wasn't until a couple of months later that my daughter told me she tried to kill herself that day. She said she took a lot of pills but, somehow, she woke up.

This was what happened that day - causing those waves to collapse and bring a miracle from the spiritual world with Jesus to my daughter. I'm so thankful for this small section in the book. This explains it and it certainly changes my prayers now. I always want to see Jesus in my prayers!
