    Show notes

We're talking to stand-up comedian and actor Irene Tu, who has NEVER had an orgasm and is probably okay with that! Irene tells us about how she is "almost never horny" and how the societal pressure for her to cum lead to her going down a rabbit hole that nearly ruined her life. Irene shares with us why she feels she may be Asexual, though she does want companionship, and we discuss the importance of emotional intimacy and foreplay leading up to a sexual experience. Finally we discuss constantly crushing, Irene's coming out story, and Remy receives a rec*mmendation from Irene!

13 How Sensitive (JR De Guzman) Apr 28, 2021
    Show notes

We're talking sensitivity with comedian crooner JR De Guzman (Netflix, Kevin Hart's Hart of the City). From his heart to his uncircumcised head JR knows sensitivity and joins us for a heartfelt conversation on falling in love deep and fast, the 5 love languages, and the importance of talking about these topics among other men. We get confronted about our relationship with ourselves and our capacity to love others while learning to establish healthy boundaries. How to change the narrative from finding someone to learning how to be, love, and care for yourself as "the one".

We get existential while we consider our purpose as humans on this earth and how we have gotten so disconnected from nature's balance (especially in urban contexts). Finally, we discuss uncircumsized dick shaming, and how high school was hell for everyone with "abnormal" genitalia when actually, we all had shitty Sex Education and didn't really know what "normal" reproductive organs actually look like.

12 How Motherhood Happened (Jessica Kirson) Apr 21, 2021
    Show notes

Undeniably hilarious comedian and producer of FX's new documentary 'Hysterical,' Jessica Kirson joins us on this exciting episode. We discuss her new film, in which she stars in alongside fellow iconic female stand-ups. Hysterical chronicles the endeavor of reaching success in a male-dominated industry (which is relevant for all women, honestly) and the importance of lifting each other up, and recognize that there is space for everyone.

We learn how Jessica was personally selected by Robert DeNiro to teach him how to perform stand up comedy on the set of The Comedian, and how she subsequently became a producer.

We also discuss Jessica's sexual journey: Cumming early in life, coming out later in life, having sex with men but no orgasms, as well as how she became a mother of four daughters when she never intended on having children at all!

She shares why she never wanted to have kids as well as why she is so happy that she did.

11 How Accessible (Pamela Rae Schuller) Apr 14, 2021
    Show notes

This week we are joined by internationally known disability advocate and stand-up comedian Pamela Rae Schuller. Pamela tells us about growing up as a person of short stature with Tourettes and OCD, "The cute kind of Tourettes!" But also the kind that caused a tic strong enough to break her neck. We discuss the portrayal of disability in the media and how it perpetuates misconceptions that promote stigma. We talk about how children with all kinds of disabilities struggle to fit in and often get thrown into special ed, and the differences between the structural shaming of these kids in public school and the boarding school that helped her fall in love with comedy by fully embracing who she is. Pamela tells us about her experiences talking in schools and the difference between the way adults and kids respond to her talks. She spills the tea about her experience with Peloton Bikes and the hate she received after her New York Post article, which was meant to raise awareness around inclusion and accessibility for fitness brands, especially during this pandemic. Finally, we hear about imposter syndrome and discuss finding the balance to nail new opportunities. Also on this episode: Cumpanion Cumgratulations! Thank you to Becky (40s, Florida) for sharing your stories with us. CW: Sexual Violence, Offensive Language

10 How Photogenic (Dave Krugman + Jenni Walkowiak) Apr 07, 2021
    Show notes

This week witnessed Khloe Kardashian's unedited photo "scandal" and we talked to two NYC photographers, Dave Krugman and Jenni Walkowiak, about the hyper-visual age we live in and the psycological effects it has on us.

The need for better online personas has made photoshoots an ordeal we must all go through, whether it's for LinkedIn, your CV or your new Instagram profile picture. Have you ever had a meltdown because you couldn't communicate with your photographer? Or because you looked like shit and you felt awkward 'cause you don't really know how to pose for your body type? Or your nose looked crooked? Well, we have. We talked to our two photographers about taking better pictures from a male and female perspective. They give us useful tips on how to pose, and tricks for a more comfortable photoshoot (spoiler alert: a pet helps with anxiety). Will this help with our body image issues? Join us for this awesome and eye-opening episode.
