Kara shares her powerful journey through depression and anxiety, detailing her experience with TMS and ketamine treatments. She reflects on the tension between trusting God and seeking medical help, ultimately finding peace in recognizing that healing can come in many forms—both spiritual and scientific—and that all healing is rooted in Christ.
Allie then shares a deeply emotional story from her recent wedding, describing how she honored her late father by dancing with her grandpa, uncles, and brother. She connects this moment of loss and gratitude to her faith, emphasizing how God’s love fills the spaces left by grief and absence. Together, the sisters discuss how Jesus “taps in” to fill the voids in our lives, turning pain into purpose.
The episode closes with a reflection on Lauren Daigle’s songs, “Thank God I Do” and “Hold On to Me,” tying the lyrics to the unshakable presence of Christ in every season of life.
