Monte Francis - Ice and Bone Jul 06, 2022
    Show notes

On a clear, brisk night in September of 2000, thirty-three-year-old Della Brown was found sexually assaulted and beaten to death inside a filthy, abandoned shed in seedy part of Anchorage, Alaska. She was one of six women, mostly Native Alaskan, slain that year, stoking fears a serial killer was on the loose. A tanned and thuggish twenty-year-old would eventually implicate himself in three of the women’s deaths and confess, in detail, to Della’s murder. Yet, after a three-month trial, Joshua Wade would walk free. In 2007, when Wade kidnapped a well-loved nurse psychologist from her home and then executed her in the remote wilderness of Wasilla, two astute female detectives joined forces to finally bring him to justice.

Ice and Bone is the chilling true account of how a demented murderer initially evaded police and avoided conviction only to slip back into the shadows and kill again. Journalist and writer Monte Francis tells the harrowing story of what eventually led to Wade’s capture, and reveals why the true scope of his murderous rampage is only now, more than a decade later, coming into view.

Douglas Burchill - Harvesting Shadows Jul 06, 2022
    Show notes

Originally documented in the Discovery Channel’s A Haunting: The Forgotten, Harvesting Shadows delves into the aspects of violent hauntings and discarnate intelligences that prime time reality television and pop-culture ghost hunters ignore or refuse to discuss. There are clues in this story, but the reader must decide upon the answers for themselves. If you believe in the phenomena, are you sure it’s everything that you’ve been told it is? If you don’t believe, where do the explanations lie? The goal of Harvesting Shadows isn’t to sway you to either side, but to ask you to reconsider your position, explore the options, step outside the box, and take a nightmare journey into the unknown with an unsuspecting family.

breaking ground in the paranormal. He began publishing at the age of 15. At age 25, Simon & Schuster published his book, HOW TO HUNT GHOSTS, now widely considered a classic in the field. In 2004, he made the cover of the science journal, ELECTRIC SPACECRAFT, for his work on the mysterious Brown Mountain Lights. Founder of L.E.M.U.R. Paranormal, and the Asheville Mystery Museum, he often corresponds for Coast to Coast AM, hosts the nationally-syndicated Speaking of Strange radio show, and is a regular personality on programs that have aired on the Travel Channel, Discovery, History Channel, National Geographic, SyFy, Animal Planet, etc. Through an open, imaginative mind, Warren tells the facts with a warm, respectful sense of humour, yet reduces them down to solid lab experiments to separate fact from fiction. A quick Google search demonstrates why his schedule includes major events regarding ghosts, UFOs, cryptids, psychic phenomena, time warps, and everything that presses forth the boundaries of "normal" reality.

William Hall - Haunted House Diaries Jul 06, 2022
    Show notes

Nestled deep in Litchfield Hills, Connecticut, a 1790 farmhouse overlooks the epicenter of a paranormal crossroads. The family that resides there regularly encounters its own ancestors, as well as strangers - human and nonhuman - who seemingly occupy the same physical space in parallel worlds. When ghost hunters Ed and Lorraine Warren investigated, they dubbed it "Ghost Central".

When William J. Hall visited the house, family member Donna Fillie showed him her journal of the paranormal activity she’s experienced there over the years. Here is Donna’s diary spanning five decades of uncanny occurrences, supplemented with background information provided by Hall. It tells of notes from old friends who insist they didn't deliver them; a grandson playing with an invisible - but very real - friend; and Donna awakening to phenomena at precisely 12:42 a.m. - an eerie correspondence to her house number, 1242.

This compelling work includes many other kinds of inexplicable incidents that frequently occur in this otherwise normal area of Connecticut, which some believe is also the site of a secret military base.

    Planchette - Brandon Hodge Jul 06, 2022
    Show notes

Brandon Hodge is a collector, author, researcher and entrepreneur residing in Austin, Texas. Fascinated in his formative years by his father's burgeoning interest in archeology, Brandon's childhood summers were spent on digs and excavations all over Texas. Brandon was known to wander off toward slightly more modern structures crumbling into dust on the horizon, where he gathered artifacts he felt resonated with the dying significance of families long fled. Since those early days, his father has amassed one of the largest and highest-quality collections of Paleo-American artifacts in the country, and Brandon has followed in familiar footsteps with planchettes and spirit writing devices.

    UFO's & Alien Abduction - Kevin Estrella Jul 06, 2022
    Show notes

Inspired the by the studies of UFOs, aliens and the artifacts of in our solar system, PYRAMIDS ON MARS is an embodiment of spacey music that brings both worlds together as both a musical concept, and message to the world of the alien presence. Formed in 2011, PYRAMIDS ON MARS is the solo creation of guitarist Kevin Estrella who offers an aural palette of intense, emotional, 3-dimensional, heavy and melodic progressive rock/ metal that includes a range of influences such as classical music from Baroque composers J.S Bach and Antonio Vivaldi along with today's guitar virtuosos Yngwie Malmsteen and Joe Satriani.

Kevin's musical style is very similar to world renowned rock guitarist Joe Satriani. So much Kevin has nicknamed himself the "Satriani of the North." Of course Satriani is a huge influence on me," he says. "But he (Satriani) does more of a bluesy thing. I am more influenced by classical music. I absolutely love Baroque. Baroque classical composers J.S Bach and Antonio Vivaldi are my biggest musical influences and a complete paradigm shift for me, the way I think about melody and harmony that is. I spent 3 years in fact, studying classical guitar. Mix my classical influences with all the bands I grew up listening to like Rush, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Ministry, Pink Floyd for example and bands like Meshuggah, I am a blend of it all. And much more.."

David Oman - Sharon Tate's Haunted House Jul 05, 2022
    Show notes

If you recall my interview with Dr. Barry Taff, hopefully, you will remember the discussion we had about the major geological anomaly that exists just 150 feet away from the infamous Sharon Tate murders, and of course, the house that was built on it. Dr. Taff called it the crowning achievement of his career. This is that house.

The Oman House is named after David Oman, the sole human inhabitant (but not the only inhabitant). Just like in Ghostbusters, the unique construction of this house has unwittingly tapped into electromagnetic energy that acts like a reverse Faraday Cage, which allows for otherworldly presences to manifest with ease within the boundaries construct. I can say with confidence, that there is no other place like it on earth.

In this interview, we discuss the strange history of both the land the house sits on, as well as David himself. Before he built the house with his dad, he was both a P.I. and a self-proclaimed “Pit Master”. We also discuss several otherworldly occurrences that have happened within his four walls.
