Last Sunday, with less than four minutes to play and the Bears down 17-7 to the L.A. Rams, head coach Matt Nagy pulled starting quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. Coach Nagy said in his postgame press conference that the Trubisky was dealing with a hip injury. The next day, Nagy reinforced that Trubsiky was removed based solely on the injury and that if healthy, he’s the starter. Adam Hoge and Adam Jahns discuss how this went of the rails and who is to blame. Hoge think there’s a move the Bears could make at quarterback before the offseason, and the guys talk about which assistant coaches may be looking for new jobs. Later on, they preview the game against the Giants this weekend, play voicemails from listeners and pick college and pro games against the spread.

After snapping a four-game losing streak last week, the Bears headed for the west coast hoping to get on a roll and keep their postseason dreams alive. Unfortunately, those slim playoff hopes look almost non-existent after a 17-7 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Adam Hoge and Adam Jahns breakdown what went wrong for the Bears from the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum press box. They not only discuss the injury to Mitchell Trubisky’s hip, but when the team knew about it as well. Hoge and Jahns play the postgame comments from head coach Matt Nagy, and Trubsiky. Towards the end of the show, the guys talk about whether the team should shutdown Trubisky before the end of the season.

The Bears entered their game Sunday on a four-game losing streak. The pressure was on to snap that streak after news that Detroit Lions starting quarterback, Matthew Stafford, would not suit up. After a sluggish start, the Bears were able to beat their division rivals 20-13 at Soldier Field Sunday afternoon. Adam Hoge and Adam Jahns share their thoughts on the Mitchell Trubisky’s performance, Cody Whitehair switching to center, and Adam Shaheen being a healthy scratch. They also play the postgame press conference audio from head coach Matt Nagy, and quarterback Mitchell Trubsiky.

The last time the Bears and Eagles played, the Bears were hosting a playoff game and even after a loss, spirits were high for a rookie head coach and his young quarterback. The rematch midway through the next season, the Bears failed to snap a three-game losing streak and are now searching for answers on both sides of the ball after a 22-14 loss in Philadelphia. Adam Hoge and Adam Jahns share their thoughts on an offense that mustered just nine yards of total offense in the first half and a defense that allowed an 8:14 drive to seal the victory for the Eagles. They play the postgame comments from head coach Matt Nagy, and quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. Later on Hoge and Jahns talk about recording live from Kroll’s South Loop this Thursday, where they’ll preview the game against the Lions and will be giving away tickets to the game as well.

Adam Hoge and Adam Jahns have a few things to discuss before previewing this Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Bears kicker Eddy Piñeiro revealed during the week that he would have preferred the ball in a different spot when he attempted the game-winning kick against the Chargers last week. Hoge and Jahns debate who may have been at fault in not getting the ball where Piñeiro would have liked it. They also talk about Mitchell Trubsiky’s body language and whether he’s being over scrutinized. The guys plays vmoicemails from listeners, make predictions for the game against the Eagles and pick a few more games against the spread at the end of the show.

Adam Hoge and Adam Jahns are in familiar territory, dissecting another brutal Bears loss full of questionable coaching decisions. Why were the Bears so bad in the red zone? Why didn’t Nagy stay committed to the running game in the fourth quarter? And why did Nagy settle for a second down field goal at the end? The guys try to explain what happened and play Nagy’s answers to these very questions.
