    Show notes

Lake View Cemetery is located in Cleveland, Ohio and is affectionately known as Cleveland's Outdoor Museum. And that is for good reason because there are thousands of beautiful trees, flowers, memorials, monuments and even a dam. During the Gilded Age, this was the cemetery to the elite. Burials continue today for anyone. Behind the iron gates lie the remains of many well known people, including a former President. And one memorial is dedicated to those lost in a tragic and deadly school fire.

Anyone who has followed and listened to History Goes Bump for any amount of time knows that we consider ourselves open-minded skeptics when it comes to paranormal activity. Particularly the kind of activity connected to psychics. When science gets involved in the paranormal, it lends it some credibility. Parapsychology became a part of college curriculum and at that same time, scientists and government agencies also started paying attention to psychic phenomenon. Intelligence organizations even tried to use it to spy on other countries. On this episode, we are going to look at one of the main tools used to test psi abilities - Zener Cards - and wind our way through the history of parapsychology and some of the famous names connected to this and operations like Project Stargate. Phantasmal Crime Ep. 57 - Death in the Judd White House Jun 09, 2026
    Show notes

In 2025, the Michigan Bell Building in Grand Rapids, Michigan sold for over $18 million to a New York investment firm. This eight-story office building is home to AT&T today and while a 101-year-old historic building in downtown Grand Rapids is interesting, it is the murder that occurred at the home that once stood on this site before the building was here, that makes this site intriguing and haunted. The Judd White House stood here and was the scene of a murder-suicide with a wooden leg as a possible weapon.
