    Ep. 488 - The Graffiti House May 25, 2023
    Show notes

The Graffiti House is owned by the Brandy Station Foundation and served as a hospital during the Civil War. Soldiers left behind their marks on the walls of the second floor, which is the inspiration behind the house's name. These soldiers may have left behind their spirits as well, not only because some of them were injured and died, but because the Battle of Brandy Station took place here. Join us for the history and hauntings of the Graffiti House. The Moment in Oddity features Cave Homes and This Month in History features the birth of Arabella Mansfield. Our location was suggested by Margaret Ward and Mike Streibel.

Ep. 487 - Haunted New South Wales May 18, 2023
    Show notes

New South Wales in Australia seems to be the most haunted state in the country and for good reason. This was the first place colonized in Australia. Not only is there a long history here that features a country built by convicts, but there is the displacement of the indigenous people who had been here for thousands of years. We've covered some of the more well known haunted locations in New South Wales on previous episodes, so on this one we are going to explore the lesser known haunts. Join us as we explore the history and hauntings of New South Wales! The Moment in Oddity features Beatle wigs and This Month in History features the transcontinental railroad.

    Ep. 486 - Tinker Swiss Cottage May 11, 2023
    Show notes

Tinker Swiss Cottage is a unique and beautiful home that resembles a Swiss cottage. Built by the Tinker family, it would become a symbol for Rockford, Illinois and the family's contributions to Rockford would help the town grow. Most of the family members who had lived at the house, died at the house. Most of the furnishings and artifacts in the house, that is now a museum, belonged to the family. Possibly this is why there are so many claims that many of the family's spirits still reside in the home. Join us as we share the history and hauntings of the Tinker Swiss Cottage! The Moment in Oddity features taxidermied birdsand This Month in History features the birth of Martha Graham.

    Show notes

The Toronto Grand Opera House was the scene of a haunting that was connected to a crime that was once dubbed the "Crime of the Century." Ambrose Small was a wealthy theater producer who mysteriously disappeared in 1919, on the same day he acquired one million dollars. He was never seen again and eventually declared dead. Could this be why he is not at rest in the afterlife?

It was open until 2004 and saw hundreds of people come through the doors. Phantasmal Crime 17 - Murder, Cards and Oysters Apr 25, 2023
    Show notes

Georgetown is a picturesque small town in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. My family visited often when I was a kid because my dad enjoyed fishing in Georgetown Lake. He never failed to reel in a few rainbow trout. Unbeknownst to us, Georgetown was the scene of a murder over oysters and the lynching of the perpetrator back in the mid-1800s. That murderer was Edward Bainbridge and his spirit is believed to still haunt Georgetown.
