The Odd Fellows were strong in this town and met at the hotel. And there were two deaths there. But it isn't the only haunted location. Several buildings have spirits. Tower of London Redux Dec 09, 2025
    Show notes

In London, located on the north bank of the River Thames, stands a tower that the mere mention of the name inspires feelings of dread and the macabre and that is because this structure's thousand-year-old history is full of imprisonment, torture and execution. Many famous names in history met their final demise at the Tower of London. The Great Tower was not always a prison. It served as a royal residence for a time and is officially known as His Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress of the Tower of London. Control of this piece of property usually signified control of the country. Because so much mystery, intrigue and death is associated with the structure, it is reputed to be quite haunted. Our infamous Lady in White is only one of the many spooks people claim to have seen or felt. Join us as we explore the history and haunting of the Tower of London.

Phantasmal Crime Ep. 51 - The Kidnapping of Bobby Greenlease Dec 02, 2025
    Show notes

In 1953, a horrific kidnapping and murder captured the attention of the nation. The perpetrators were Carl Austin Hall and Bonnie Emily Brown Heady and the victim was a sweet and innocent six-year-old boy named Bobby Greenlease. Bonnie and Carl were put to death in the gas chamber at the Missouri State Penitentiary for their crime. And it would seem that although their bodies left the prison, their spirits have not and they continue to haunt the abandoned halls of death row.

    Ep. 613 - Kreischer Mansion Nov 27, 2025
    Show notes

A little known factory town was home to the Kreischer Mansion, which actually had a twin. There were two exact mirror-image homes that sat next to each in Staten Island, fittingly owned by brothers. Only one of them remains and it changed ownership many times over the years. There were deaths on the property and people took to calling this the murder house. It very well might be a real life haunted mansion. Join us as we explore the history and hauntings of the Kreischer Mansion. This Month in History features the birth of Hedy Lamarr and was written by Jim Featherstone.

Valley of the Kings Redux Nov 25, 2025
    Show notes

Egypt is a land of ancient treasures and wonders. Pharaohs were honored in death with immense public monuments and tombs like pyramids, temples and obelisks. The Old Kingdom of Egypt built their places of death in Giza and the Nile Delta. The New Kingdom pharaohs of Egypt wanted to be buried closer to their dynastic roots and they had their crypts placed in the hills of Luxor. This area became known as the Valley of the Kings. The Valley of the Kings would end up housing the remains of at least sixty Egyptian nobles, including pharaohs from King Tut to Ramses II. There are more than tombs here though. There are tales of curses and hauntings in the Valley of the Kings.

Have you ever heard someone say of another person, particularly a child, "He had the face of an angel." It's an interesting description, but we all understand that it means something along the lines of beauty or innocence. There are stories in the Bible of people who literally seemed to have the face of an angel. What made these people shiny? And is it possible that seeing YHWH could kill someone?
