On Christmas Eve 1945 in Fayetteville, West Virginia, George and Jennie Sodder had been celebrating the Christmas season with nine of their ten children. During the night, there was a horrific fire. Mr. and Mrs. Sodder, along with four of their children got out safely but five of the children were no where in sight. Their remains were never found. Did they die in the fire? Were they kidnapped? 70 years later it remains a mystery.

In 1932, struggling actress Peg Entwistle became the only person ever to commit suicide by jumping off the famed HOLLYWOOD sign.

On December 30, 1903, the Iroquois Theatre, in Chicago, caught on fire, during a standing room only performance. It would become the deadliest theater fire and the deadliest single-building fire in United States history. A total of 602 people died as a result of this tragedy.

During Christmas week in 1987, Ronald Gene Simmons killed 14 members of his own family. Simmons then killed or wounded several of his previous co-workers. In all, Simmons killed 16 people before turning himself in to the Police.

Glen Edward Rogers is also known as "The Casanova Killer", is an American serial killer. He was convicted of two murders and is a suspect in several others throughout the United States. There are even some evidence he may be responsible for the death of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.

In 1921, Kip Rhinelander was a socially awkward young when he met and fell in love with the beautiful Alice Jones. Kip was also a wealthy New York aristocrat and heir to his family's fortune. Alice was a domestic helper whose father also happened to be black. Their marriage became a media sensation that sadly tore the young couple apart.

On December 24, 2008 Bruce Pardo went to a Christmas party dressed as Santa Clause. He was carrying several automatic weapons and a homemade Flame Thrower. After killing 9 people, he torhced the home. In the process, Pardo accidentally caught himself on fire and was force to commit suicide.
