What The Blood Outside Lindsay Clancy's Window Points To Aug 26, 2026
    Show notes

Did anyone actually investigate Patrick Clancy? That question runs under half the comments on this channel, and the Lindsay Clancy trial already answered it under oath.

State Police Det. Sgt. Andrew Chiachio testified that he mapped the route Patrick drove the night of Jan. 24, 2023, pulled surveillance from the Kingston CVS and the ThreeV restaurant, and interviewed witnesses including Lindsay's mother. The CVS footage shows Patrick walking in at 5:32 p.m. The restaurant footage shows him picking up the order at 5:54. A Cellebrite expert testified Lindsay's phone placed a 14-second call to Patrick between those two clips. He was two miles away with a receipt.

Then there's the New Yorker theory: that Patrick left the country in February 2023 and that proves something. The magazine did report solo trips to Latin America and Europe before he sold the Duxbury house. No February date appears in that reporting that I can find. He wasn't a suspect, he wasn't charged, and he came back to Massachusetts to testify for the prosecution for two days.

Another commenter asks a fair question: if Lindsay was psychotic, can her admission even be trusted? Her admission isn't one statement. It's the 911 call, her lawyer's opening, a hospital phone call to Patrick that Patrick testified about, dozens of evaluations, and a formal stipulation in court to the DNA on the bands.

This segment works through five comments and puts the testimony next to each one. Some claims are missing from the record. One is in the record and backwards. All of them get an answer you can check.

Lindsay Clancy and Nolan Wells: Is the State Ignoring Its Own Evidence? Aug 26, 2026
    Show notes

On Hidden Killers Live, ex-FBI agent Jennifer Coffindaffer takes on two cases in one sitting with Tony Brueski. First the Lindsay Clancy trial, where the prosecution's rebuttal psychiatrist carried her description of the voice into the record. Then the Nolan Wells investigation, where the DA's grand jury promise doesn't cover the one device the case turns on.

Clancy's defense rested August 21, 2026, on Dr. Phillip Resnick, the psychiatrist from the Andrea Yates acquittal. He told jurors she was psychotic and following a command voice. Dr. Avram Mack, called by prosecutors, said she knew her actions were wrong and also said she described a laughing male voice to him and told him she doesn't want to be alive.

Coffindaffer argues guilt and Tony argues the record. The psychiatrist session on January 23, 2023. Testing for the Commonwealth that showed no faking. The paralysis and the suicide watch. A chaplain who heard about the voice in January 2023, three years ahead of the lawsuit. A McLean discharge nineteen days before the deaths. Mack at three years versus Resnick at four months.

Then Mississippi. Nolan Wells' phone has been with his family since the first days after he died on Horn Island, and seven weeks later nobody has examined it. Both sides agreed to a joint exam on July 15 and never booked it. The DA's 48-hour demand came next; the family's four-day offer came after. The sheriff said no foul play before the autopsy and never asked for the phone. The friends deny tampering.

Clancy has entered a not guilty plea claiming no criminal responsibility; no one is charged in Nolan's death. The chat votes on both: is this strategy, or is the state afraid of what its own evidence says?

Nolan Wells' Phone: Did Anyone Official Ever Ask for It? Aug 25, 2026
    Show notes

Not in the first week. Two days after Nolan Wells vanished on Horn Island, and before any autopsy, the Jackson County sheriff's office declared there was no foul play. Nolan's phone was with his family by then, and no agency had requested it. On Hidden Killers Live, ex-FBI agent Jennifer Coffindaffer and Tony Brueski take on seven weeks of an unexamined phone.

The claim driving this case is that somebody wiped it. Nolan's mother got the device back from his friends within days and says the Snapchat accounts were empty and texts had vanished. The friends maintain they never touched it. A single extraction settles that. Nobody has performed one.

Prosecutors and the family shook hands on a joint exam July 15, at a community college lab, with the FBI as a maybe. No date ever followed. The DA's 48-hour demand landed August 12 with the parents traveling. The family's answer on August 17 was any day through the 21st, with 12 hours' notice. The DA's public statements since haven't mentioned the phone.

Six questions for the chat. How does a test that ends the argument go unrun for seven weeks? If the DA never took custody of the phone, does her grand jury promise even include it? Did Congress, the NAACP, and Al Sharpton get ahead of the evidence? Could the family's subpoenas to five tech companies answer it first? The friends volunteered their own devices, so does anyone in power want this one opened?

Nobody is charged and the friends reject the tampering claim. The state's autopsy and toxicology reports are complete. The live chat gets the floor on every one.

Did Lindsay Clancy Tell the State's Expert About the Voice? Aug 25, 2026
    Show notes

She did. Dr. Avram Mack, the Commonwealth's rebuttal psychiatrist in the Lindsay Clancy trial, testified that Clancy told him about a male, laughing voice that said it was her last chance. On Hidden Killers Live, ex-FBI agent Jennifer Coffindaffer argues the guilt side while Tony Brueski runs every credibility attack against the testimony.

The doctor's too old: Resnick is 88 and evaluated her four months out. Mack's evaluation came in April 2026. The chaplain isn't ordained: Cavanaugh also testified Clancy brought up the voice in their first conversations, and her visits number around two hundred.

The voice was invented for the lawsuit: the malpractice case was filed in January 2026, and the chaplain's account puts the voice in January 2023. Her face is evidence: Mack himself said she cried in front of him. She denies being bipolar: Dr. Paul Zeizel and Resnick both diagnosed it, and denial runs with the illness.

The family failed her: after she told them in December 2022 she'd had thoughts of harming the children, they got her into McLean Hospital. The hospital cleared her and discharged her; nineteen days after that, the children were dead. Her providers knew about the harm thoughts. She wasn't hiding it.

Clancy denies three murder counts on a claim of no criminal responsibility, and prosecutors allege she planned the killings and staged the jump. Two versions of her are on trial at once: a mastermind who fooled everyone and an obvious danger nobody acted on. The chat picks one live.

Did Lindsay Clancy See a Doctor the Day Before? Aug 25, 2026
    Show notes

Yes. Lindsay Clancy had a telehealth session with her psychiatrist on January 23, 2023, and killed her three children on January 24. On Hidden Killers Live, retired FBI Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer brings the guilt argument in the Lindsay Clancy trial, and Tony Brueski brings the record.

The defense rested August 21, 2026, on Dr. Phillip Resnick, the forensic psychiatrist from the Andrea Yates acquittal. He testified Clancy was psychotic and obeying a command voice. Prosecutors answered the same day with Dr. Avram Mack, who interviewed her in April 2026 and said she knew her actions were wrong.

Six questions, six arguments for guilt, each one run against a fact. Everyone agrees she was sick, so how sick is sick enough? Yates planned and was acquitted, so why does planning convict Clancy? A sociopath faking insanity exaggerates, and the Commonwealth's testing showed Clancy minimized, so where's the faker? The paper trail runs through four providers and a McLean Hospital admission, so how is that no paper trail?

The staged-jump theory meets a nurse in a house full of medication who chose a neck wound, cut wrists, and a second-story window, and is now paralyzed and still on suicide watch at Tewksbury. The consciousness-of-guilt theory meets three people who heard the same thing from her. "Go to God" during the killings, according to Mack. "Glad they're safe" to a chaplain a week later. Months after that, she told Resnick dying would've left the kids worse off without her.

Clancy's plea is not guilty, built on lack of criminal responsibility, while prosecutors allege a planned killing and a faked suicide attempt. The live chat gets a say on every question.

Did Nolan Wells and Lindsay Clancy Get the Same Problem? Aug 25, 2026
    Show notes

Two different states. Two different cases. The same pattern: prosecutors making decisions that may cost them the outcome.
In Mississippi, the DA agreed to examine Nolan Wells’ phone, then sent a 48-hour ultimatum that blew up the deal. The phone remains unexamined after six weeks. In Massachusetts, the prosecution spent fourteen days on a case the defense had already conceded — then alienated the jury by asking a mother-in-law about mortal sin, challenging a mother for not committing her daughter, and calling a paralyzed woman’s injuries faked.
Eric Faddis, defense attorney and former prosecutor, evaluates the prosecution’s missteps in both cases and whether either side can recover.

Did the Prosecution Hand Lindsay Clancy the Case? Aug 24, 2026
    Show notes

Fourteen days. More than seventy witnesses. The prosecution rested its case — and the defense may have been building theirs the entire time. Every prosecution witness who personally knew Lindsay testified under cross that she was a wonderful mother. The defense psychologist has met with Lindsay sixty times and told the jury she was psychotic. Lindsay’s hospital records say “critically ill, postpartum psychosis” while a hospital psychiatrist said she was “calm and cooperative.”
The defense admitted Lindsay killed her children before trial. The only question is criminal responsibility. Eric Faddis, defense attorney and former prosecutor, evaluates what the prosecution proved and where this goes.

Did Lindsay Clancy’s Prosecution Cross the Line? Aug 24, 2026
    Show notes

Three weeks of prosecution testimony in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial ended with more questions about the DA’s courtroom conduct than about the defendant’s guilt. A prosecutor asked Lindsay’s former mother-in-law about mortal sin. The judge struck it. A prosecutor asked Lindsay’s mother why she didn’t have her daughter committed. A State Police investigator acknowledged the prosecution floated a theory that the defense psychologist coached Lindsay to claim she heard voices.
The prosecution told this jury Lindsay faked a suicide attempt. She’s paralyzed from the waist down. Their own psychiatrist saw her fourteen times by telehealth and never met her in person.
Eric Faddis, defense attorney and former prosecutor, evaluates the prosecution’s conduct and where this case goes next.

Nolan Wells’ DA Made THIS Move On the Phone Aug 24, 2026
    Show notes

Nolan Wells’ phone left Horn Island with his friends. His body was found two days later. Six weeks after his death, not a single forensic expert has examined that device. The DA and the family had a deal — a joint examination at the state digital forensics lab. Then the DA sent a 48-hour ultimatum and the deal collapsed.
The phone has been in the family’s possession since they retrieved it. Nolan’s mother went through it herself before any protocol was established. Both Snapchat accounts were empty. The friends gave their phones to the FBI voluntarily. The family is demanding chain of custody protections that haven’t been written yet.
A grand jury is reportedly waiting to review this case. The state autopsy is sealed. The phone is sitting in a drawer. Eric Faddis, defense attorney and former prosecutor, evaluates whether a grand jury can move forward without the data that device was carrying.

Why Lindsay Clancy's Chaplain Never Documented THIS Aug 24, 2026
    Show notes

Fourteen telehealth sessions. Two hundred hospital visits. Neither person who spent the most time with Lindsay Clancy before or after her three children died in their Duxbury home ever documented the thing her defense now says explains everything. Her psychiatrist testified Clancy never looked psychotic across all fourteen sessions. Her hospital chaplain, who has sat with her roughly two hundred times over three years at Tewksbury Hospital, testified that Clancy described a male voice ordering her to kill her children and then herself. Then the prosecutor asked for the chaplain's notes — and that voice wasn't in a single one of them.
This is where the Lindsay Clancy trial actually turns. Massachusetts law puts the burden on prosecutors once an insanity defense is on the table: they have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Clancy was criminally responsible when she killed her children with exercise bands. That means the state needs the jury to believe the chaplain missed the most consequential disclosure of her career, or that Clancy constructed the voice sometime after she survived her own fall. Phone records don't help settle it — Clancy had searched "symptoms of postpartum psychosis," mapped her husband's errand, and ordered the takeout that got him out of the house before it happened.
The defense argues a medical system kept switching her medications without ever really listening. The prosecution argues the searches and the timing tell you everything you need to know about intent. Tony Brueski walks through what twelve jurors now have to decide, with closing arguments expected the week of August 24 — and no clean answer waiting on the other side of it.
