Dani & Brett are back after another exciting week of Big Brother and recap the humongous, stupendous, game-shaking double eviction that happened on Thursd-- oh wait, no one was actually evicted on Thursday night. Grodner and the BB producers got our asses again. Well, we recap what happened this week including the double eviction that wasn't & where Cirie's place is in the house with her son Jared being public enemy number 1A or 1B (depending on who you ask). Also, that BOB! What was Julie thinking? All that and more this week. Listen, subscribe, thrive. Brett & Dani are back after another week of BB25 action in which Izzy was sent home nearly unanimously and the first cracks are beginning to appear in Cirie's armor. But oh, so much more happened! Bowie Jane appears to be playing the game! The cheekiness will not stand! America & Cory finally put their words to work and flipped the vote against Izzy, instead of just talking about it! Matt made a friend!
But like every episode of Hey Julie, it's about oh-so-much more, including Josh Duhamel's IMDB page, Brett's appearance on a big documentary, basement home theaters & a TON of your questions.

Brett & Dani are back with a new episode, and what fortuitous timing: they started taping about 10 minutes after Cameron's nominations were revealed on the live feeds -- and boy are they a doozy. Mixing things up a bit, we kick off the episode with SPOILERS about Cameron's nominations and if we're truly in for a groundbreaking shift to the #bb25 season.
Moving backwards, we also chat about Red's departure, Jared's not-hot HOH week which made him look like a quite problematic boyfriend to poor Blue, Julie's denim-themed outfit and Cory's unexplainable vote in Thursday night's eviction.
Also, a lot of listener questions this week including not one but TWO emails.

Brett & Dani are back to recap another week of Big Brother 25 (in)action. Dani is PEEVED at the events of the week & the use of the new invincibility twist to effectively make the week a complete waste of time. Brett thinks that it's just an unserious show doing unserious things, so it's actually Big Brother doing what it does best. Who is right?
They also talk about how the producers completely whiffed on explaining how the twist worked, why Bowie Jane dresses like a character from The Matrix, Felicia's condom investigation sparks a long Perry Mason explainer & Brett wonders how Josh Duhamel got the Buddy Games hosting gig. Truly a wide-ranging episode from your king and queen of BB casualdom.

Dani & Brett are back with another episode, recapping Felicia's HOH which sent Hisam packing back to his glorious life being a doctor and cabaret performer. They also chat about Blue & Jared's relationship, Cory's social game, and Mecole's hilarious sick of this shit edit.
After mourning the loss of Hisam, they move to the result of Thursday night's Pressure Cooker competition, who won and who they nominated.
A listener sends in an email revealing some incredibly strange BB/Hey Julie cross-over fanfic.

Dani & Brett are back to recap the happenings from Week 2 of Big Brother 25 including Hisam's HOHitis run wild, his successful anti-Reilly campaign and how the whole affair is likely to cost him the game in Week 3. They also chat about the needlessly long Nether-Gorgon competition, if the producers did Matt dirty with the veto competition & if Cirie's effortless play and amazing DRs are a sign of producer meddling.
They also answer questions about MFK scenarios, BB opening credits gestures & Dani gives her review of Oppenheimer.

No, it's not November already. BB25 only started 9 days ago, yet it feels like a full season has blown by, and we're already the empty husks of ourselves. Why is that?
Well, Reilly had one of the most chaotically simple HOHs and still biffed it, about four hundred alliances and sub-alliances were formed in about three days, Izzy has spun out into crazy game-talk with the entire cast, oh and Luke got removed from the game for being a racist shitbag. Anything we miss?
Brett & Dani dive into all of it this week: the ugliness of Luke, why CBS isn't doing enough to accommodate Matt, Bowie's place in the olds alliance, Kirsten's non-participation in the game, Cirie's masterful gameplay & the casting gold that is Izzy & Hisam.

Brett & Dani are back (ON THEIR BIRTHDAY) to recap the first episode of Big Brother 25 and look at the first 36 hours of feeds. The BB25 broadcast premiere was the usual mix of good and bad, with awkward introduction packages, an even more awkward Frankie Grande clip & four pretty stupid competitions, resulting in four night-one nominees.
In the feeds, a new HOH has been crowned and targets are beginning to form around two unsuspecting houseguests.
At the end of the show, we take your questions on the BB25 multiverse and Panera Bread.

Brett & Dani react to the incredibly promising cast of Big Brother 25. Two people named for colors! Two nepo-relatives! A whole lot of olds! An Australian! This cast has everything.

August is mere days away and this is quite possibly our last podcast for the next few months without any Big Brother season 25 news.
Kicking things off, Brett talks about his big day at the movies seeing both 'Barbie' & 'Oppenheimer', which both earned two major thumbs up. Brett shares the palpable excitement of seeing both movies, why they worked & how there could be a potential best supporting actor battle brewing between one major star in each movie, keeping the Barbenheimer buzz going until awards season 2024.
Later, Danielle talks about Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's reportedly seven-figure donation to the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, which is helping actors stay afloat during the strike. She also shares a wild fan theory about Adrien Brody's career and public persona.
Afterwards, they talk about Max's new drama 'Full Circle', why it's a must-watch and Claire Danes' haircut surviving two different drama series in a row.
Closing out the show, Danielle talks about infidelity behind the scenes of the new 'Wicked' movie & why Doja Cat hates her fans.
