    Show notes

What do you do if you want to make more money? Typically it’s up to you to make the case as to why your employer will benefit from paying you more. But now, President Biden and his cohorts of the left are pushing hard for a federal $15 minimum wage, regardless of skill level or value added to employers. This week, we talk about the devastating impact this would have on business owners and their employees, and how it's like throwing a ton of bricks on a sinking ship. These are the faces of a $15 minimum wage.

The Big Chemical Abortion Push Jan 18, 2021
    Show notes

Chemical abortions are growing quickly in the USA. Since first being approved 20 years ago, the "abortion pill" now comprises 40% of all abortions. Given the hesitance for many women to see practitioners in-person due to COVID-19, the left is pushing to make them even more common by weakening current restrictions in place. If a Biden Administration uses the COVID-19 pandemic to weaken restrictions to the administration of chemical abortions, what risks does that pose for women? Is it safe to increase the use of the abortion pill? On this episode Melanie Israel helps explain these questions, and talks about ways the pro-life movement should respond.

Five Reasons Why Stimulus Checks Aren't the Answer Jan 04, 2021
    Show notes

Both Democrats and Republicans approved a massive omnibus budget that spends nearly a trillion dollars for Covid-19 relief. This includes checks of $600 to any Americans making $75,000/year (or less) regardless of their employment situation. Now, President Trump and other voices on the left and the right are arguing to increase this payment to $2,000. The media narrative and many other people are calling this a "stimulus," but what will it stimulate? On this episode, we go through the five reasons why so-called stimulus checks (of any amount) are not the answer to economic hardship caused by the pandemic, and why safely re-opening the economy is the best approach.

Solving Social Media Censorship Dec 14, 2020
    Show notes

Section 230 of the Communications and Decency Act has been credited as the 26 words that built the Internet. It has also become the avenue that allows social media companies to censor certain content, and keep controversial content from being posted without liability. Conservatives are upset that their content is being censored, and liberals seem to be upset about so-called fake news. Because of this, they are both calling for reforms – even an all-out end to Section 230. So what would changes look like? What would happen if 230 was ended entirely? On this episode, Klon Kitchen explains why we must find a middle ground, and mend not end Section 230.
