Logan and Ali are back to discuss Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, the first film to start setting up the series finale. With Voldemort officially back, Harry and Co are tormented by not only his return, but also the introduction of Professor Umbridge which finally gives the audience a deeper look into the corruption of the Ministry of Magic. With it becoming ever more apparent that there will be a war between good and evil coming later on, Order of the Phoenix starts introducing characters like Bellatrix Lestrange to show the depth of Voldemorts army and the real and present danger they represent. This was clearly one of the toughest books to adapt because of the colossal size of the novel, so obviously some major cuts needed to be made, so how did David Yates do in his first foray into the Potter franchise? Ali and Logan butt heads about Luna Lovegood and Ali finally comes clean about her IRL Neville Longbottom home wrecker story.
Logan and Ali are halfway through their Harry Potter binge and this week we're breaking down the Tri-Wizard tournament inside the Goblet of Fire. We get to experience a bit of the Quidditch World Cup, but is it anything more than a narrative device to introduce the Deatheaters? The Wizarding World is ever expanding in this movie with the introduction of the other two schools for the tournament, but what is it that makes Goblet stand out from the other films in the series? Cedric, Fleur, and Krum are all new main characters introduced to the story and each have their strengths within the tournament, is the audience given enough time to connect with them, though? Voldemort and the final graveyard sequence are a masterwork in storytelling and setting up the Dark Lord as being back to near full strength to foreshadow our final battle with Harry Potter, but what makes this scene so epic?

Logan and Producer Diana are back to discuss ALL the drama from the few two episodes of Peter's season of the Bachelor, including all the cringeworthy first impressions, who the early favorites are, who we each picked in our draft, all the #ChampagneGate drama, if Hannah Ann is our new Luke P, why Victoria F is so awkward, and why this should be an all time classic season.

Logan and Ali are finally onto chapter 3 of the Harry Potter franchise with Prisoner of Azkaban and there's a lot of backstory regarding the production and how the producers landed on Alfonso Cuaron before we dive deep into the themes and narrative of this film. Curaon's fingerprints are all over Prisoner, which needed a visionary director to thrust the Potter franchise into a darker and grittier realm. While there may be one giant time travel sized flaw with this film, it is a masterwork of foreshadowing later stories for the greater series while also being a sort of spin off story because of the lack of Voldemort in the film. Why has the general public been mislead about what really happened with Sirius Black? How much knowledge did Dumblebore actually have of the time traveling plan? All these questions and more are discussed on this weeks episode of Rotten Butterbeer!

Logan is joined by Scott Yager of Challenge Mania to chat about the last decade of the wrestling industry including how the WWE network changed the game (& the rise of supplemental content), WWE giving undersized indie darlings a real shot, the rise in international exposure both to and from the US market, AJ Styles' incredible cross promotion career (& if his WWE career alone is enough to be 'best of the decade' worthy), Becky Lynch's unlikely rise to superstardom, the rise and sustained success of NXT Takeovers, the best tag teams of the decade, the lack of great Royal Rumble winners in the last ten years and what our favorite matches were.

Logan and Ali continue their Harry Potter binge and this week its Chamber of Secrets! we discuss the new major themes introduced from prejudice, and identity to fear of the 'other' from the introduction of House Elves and Voldemorts 'true-blood' ideology. Chamber of Secrets lays the foundation for the final conflict of the series, but is it a good stand alone film? Chamber is essentially anti-Slytherin propaganda, but is that a bad thing? The rotating door of Defense against the Dark Arts teachers brings us Professor Lockhart and all his dripping ego, but is he underused in the film? Tom Riddle and his diary are the next piece of 'endgame' material introduced early on in the series and the Chamber of Secrets itself is a clever narrative tool to introduce ancient Hogwarts lore to the viewer, but does the film hold up?
