Show notes
Hey HBs! BFF Alexis came to recap SWEET RUIN by Kresley Cole with Sabrina and Mel! It's the 16th book in the Immortals After Dark series and WE COULDN'T GET ENOUGH, so it's actually coming out in 4 parts over the next two weeks. But, Patrons have all 4 parts right now.
We've got Jo, a scrappy orphan who was tasked with raising her newborn brother at just 8 years old. After being murdered at 11, she woke to figure out she's a liiiiiittle different. Now she's 25 and figuring out her paranormal existence all on her own. Then, we've got Rune, a 500 year old dark fae archer who spies for The Moriar... mostly with his penis. This sassy feral cat heroine is the only person who could possibly keep the attention of this bored, jaded hero, especially when they get locked in a battle of wills. WE LOVED THIS BOOK SOOOOO MUCH!
If you want to hear about the first two books in the IAD series that we recapped on the public feed, check out our episodes on THE WARLORD WANTS FOREVER and A HUNGER LIKE NO OTHER. We also have a whole collection of the rest of the books we've recapped on Patreon!
This Friday on PATREON, Mel and Sabrina recap the second half of DARK SKYE by Kresley Cole! It's book 15 in the Immortals After Dark series! We jump in right where our hero realizes how idiotic his obsession with her sexual history is and the grovel ends up being pretty good! He’s got a lot to do to earn her trust.
