There are several cultural factors that contribute to the negative attitudes and beliefs that make it difficult for individuals to seek help from a mental health professional. Today the HeauxmGirls for the first time EVER have invited a special guest speaker, Devyn Walker, Licensed Therapist and Racial Trauma Counselor, to help change the narrative of therapy and its importance in breaking mental health barriers in the black community.
