Day 67: Genesis 30:25-43 Strategy vs Surrender: Daily Bible Study, Daily Devotional
In today’s episode, Rachael explores a pivotal moment in Jacob’s life from Genesis 30, focusing on his struggle with manipulation and self-reliance. Despite facing deception and hardship from his father-in-law Laban, Jacob learns to trust God with the outcome of his efforts. Through a combination of wisdom, strategy, and divine intervention, Jacob’s livestock flourishes, revealing an important truth: success is not about clever manipulation, but about surrendering to God’s plan. This story teaches us about trust, resilience, and the difference between self-sufficiency and surrendering to God’s plan in our lives.
