In this episode, Passion vs. Romance, Rachael Groll unpacks the difference between fleeting passion and lasting, godly love. She explains that real fulfillment in relationships isn’t found in momentary excitement or physical connection alone—it’s built on admiration, respect, and a shared relationship with God. Takeaways

We should not be separating passion from respect.

Chasing the ultimate feeling of a fulfilling relationship is common.

That craving is for God, not just physical intimacy.

Addiction can take many forms, not just sex.

People often discover too late the consequences of unhealthy relationships.

True fulfillment comes from God-honoring relationships.

The pursuit of fulfillment should align with God's design.

Sex is not the ultimate answer to fulfillment.

Healthy relationships require commitment and respect.

Understanding the deeper needs behind desires is crucial.

Mutual Desire in Marriage: Love, Sex, and the Bible: Daily Devotional, Daily Bible Study

In this episode, Rachael Groll explores the beauty of love, mutual respect, and Godly desire within marriage. She shares how honoring each other’s needs and cultivating emotional and spiritual intimacy reflect the heart of God’s design for lasting partnership. Rachael reminds couples that true fulfillment in marriage comes from valuing one another: not out of obligation, but out of love that seeks to give, not just to get. This conversation offers a fresh look at how desire, when rooted in love and respect, can strengthen the bond God intended between husband and wife.

With each affirmation and verse, you’re reminded that you’re not alone—God’s strength, love, and renewal are available right where you are. It’s time to stop striving and start resting in His goodness.

Affirmations for rest, renewal, and surrender:

The week is ending, and as we step into the weekend, let’s take a moment to breathe. Release our burdens and rest in God’s presence. We’re not meant to carry everything ourselves. God calls us to lay our worries at His feet and find renewal in Him.
