Brien Terry Mar 23, 2026

Show notes

Chris confronts a predator who should have known better—but didn’t stop anyway. When 25-year-old Brien Terry is caught in a Marion County sting after pursuing what he believed was a 14-year-old girl, the case quickly reveals something more troubling than a single bad decision: a pattern. What begins as defiance turns into a tense, psychological unraveling—excuses, contradictions, and ultimately a moment of raw remorse. But as Chris digs deeper into Terry’s past, one question lingers: when someone has already faced consequences for crossing this line… why do they come back? A chilling look at repetition, rationalization, and the dangerous mindset of a predator who knew exactly what he was risking—and did it anyway.

"Call me, "Master!" - Christan Medina Mar 16, 2026

Show notes

Christan Medina is notable for having called five separate Ubers to pick up a 14-year-old child for sex, wanting to do BDSM things with the 14-year-old, and for making her call him, "Master." Medina was caught in a sting by Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office. Instead of making an excuse for not knowing her age, he instead just said, "How do I know she's 14?" and that there was no way to know she was 14, despite the decoy stating it. Medina throughout the episode continually places blame on anyone and any system and refuses to take responsibility for any of his actions.

Ken Paxton | Have A Seat ep 27 Mar 04, 2026

Show notes

On this episode of Have a Seat with Chris Hansen, Hansen is continuing his investigation into Roblox, the on-line gaming platform that is at the center of controversy surrounding lax measures to keep children safe from predators. Chris is joined by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton as he too has filed suit against the mega-gamer for not protecting children, not disclosing crimes, and is asking for statutory damages for their security actions, or lack thereof. Multiple cases have come to light in Paxton’s state of Texas that struck a chord with him and his office, which he discusses with Hansen as the instigation of the lawsuit. The two also deliberate on what it will take to make kids safe on Roblox, who is culpable in the crimes against children both on the gaming platform and on chat sites like Discord, and how you can keep your kids safe on-line.

Joseph Ross Mar 02, 2026

Show notes

"If she wanted to play, I probably would have done oral and that's about it."

―Joseph Ross

At the time of the sting, Joseph Ross resided in Marquette City, Michigan. Ross was communicating with a fifteen-year-old decoy run by the Marquette County Sheriff's Office. During his chat with the decoy, he requested that she wear a thong, a halter bikini top, and pigtails and informed her that he was into fetish play. He requested a phone call with the decoy so that he could hear her voice. After the decoy told Ross over the phone that she wanted to have sex, Ross asked how many times she would "like to play." He then asked what she would charge and asked the decoy, "how much do you wanna be a little fuck slut?" During the phone call, Ross asked the decoy what her age was. He said it was "A-Okay" that she was young. Ross arrived at the sting house and immediately asked if it was setup upon entering. Once again assured that it was not, Ross took out $150 to pay the decoy, much less than the agreed upon $500. The decoy left and Chris walked out to meet Ross.
