On Today's Episode of Hard Factor: Equifax says it is going to pay out over 700 million dollars to the over 145 million customers that were effected by a 2017 data breach, the largest ever, in an order handed down by The Federal Trade Commission. Each person effected gets an amount which equals a very nice dinner on Equifax, or around $125. However some customers who had to spend time and money to either repair their credit, recover fraudulent charges, pay attorneys and accountants to get their shit in order following the hack can be compensated up to $20,000 and if you spent personal time dealing with this shit they will pay you up to $25/hr for up to 20 hours. So all you need to do is go to the Equifax's website, follow their date breach tabs to find out whether or not your were affected and how to file your claim. You must either opt out or in by November 19th and all claims must be made by January 22nd. So its certainly worth a shot. It actually took Wes 2 minutes to find out he was one of the ones compromised and to fill out a claim for $125 bucks… just check box 2 even if you are not sure if you already have the free bullshit credit monitoring they are trying to offer you instead of cash money. On Friday, Iran seized a British owned oil tanker. When asked why they seized it, they claimed it was for “polluting.” Britain had previously been told it was detained on suspicion of delivering to Syria. Basically, they do some shit with these tankers or a drone and when you ask them why they just scream out random answers. It's like they're trying desperately to conceal a cat from their landlord or something. Also, Iran claims to have foiled the plots of all 17 alleged spies without them having have gotten any information for the US… which… if you're busting 17 of your own people for spying on your shit, you haven't caught all of them – your people also presumably despise you if it's that easy to get them to spy on their government. So either we have a shitload of spies in Iran or it's a bunch of bologna – either way seems like it sucks to be Iran in this situation.
