A new Nintendo Direct has happened and while there was big news, there was no news on the one thing we want. Sergio and I take a pretty in depth look at the announcements from the direct and talk about our thoughts on when we'll see Animal Crossing based on these announcements. It was a bitter sweet time because there are things we are excited for, but we are holding out on getting some Animal Crossing. We finish up the show by discussing all the different Animal Crossing Pocket Camp stuff that has happened. We cover the end of Leif's Gardening Event, the latest Mario Event, New Characters that have been added, and the missing Gulliver. We have a huge episode of Haken: An Animal Crossing Podcast today. Tons of updates have hit Pocket Camp that are making the game feel more alive than ever. We discuss all the big things that have been added to the game like the Brake Tapper mini game, level up animations, dressing up villagers, and changing the background and foregrounds to our campsites. I have also started a new journey into Animal Crossing: New Leaf Welcome amiibo. After 5 years, I have finally decided to buy another copy of the game and start a new town named Haken|2. In the latest episode of Haken: An Animal Crossing Podcast, Sergio and I take a look at the most recent garden event with Lottie. Nintendo received a lot of backlash over the last event and they have made changes to make it easier for people to reach the intended goals and collect all of the items. We discuss what we thought of the event and how they can keep making them better. We also give you a bit more of our progress in Pocket Camp and the next update coming to the game. There is a mini game coming to OK Motors that we look forward to seeing. The game will use friendship powder so be sure to stock up on that powdery goodness. Meanwhile, we are reaching the end of the game and are nearly done completing every amenity and item. Unfortunately, many Pocket Camp players found that the second half of the Rover's Garden Safari was much too difficult and a clear money grab. We come up with ideas that could improve the situation and make it a much more enjoyable experience. We also discuss the Animal Crossing Trademarks that Nintendo of Japan has recently submitted. This new trademark truly points toward a new game coming to a home console and handheld console. We discuss our updated thoughts on when we'll be seeing the next Animal Crossing game release worldwide. This update has finally added a gardening section to our campsite. This section lets you grow, harvest, and cross-breed flowers. Collect flowers and trade them for unique pieces of furniture to decorate your campsite. We also discuss ways to get more crafting materials using My Nintendo. While you get points from Pocket Camp, there are many other Nintendo apps that you can use to collect more points and in turn, get more crafting materials for all your projects.
