SLAVE PLAY'S Paul Nolan on Listening Oct 25, 2019

Show notes

Paul Alexander Nolan's resume would make any musical theater geek swoon. Tony in West Side, Jesus in Superstar, Guy in Once. He has run the gamut of some of the great musical theater leading roles of all time. This season on Broadway he takes on his biggest challenge yet; Jim in Jermey O. Harris' remarkable, provocative Slave Play. If someone tells you "musical theater actors can't do plays", read off Paul's credits. Joe and Dan get into the honor and responsibility of playing Jim, reinventing Jesus, sliding across the stage while singing a Bb, and just the right amount of hockey talk.
