Why Self-Trust Changes Everything with Tarryne West Aug 04, 2026
    Show notes

In a world that's constantly telling us to trust the process, trust the experts, or trust someone else's roadmap, what if the greatest thing we could learn is how to trust ourselves?

In this episode of The Growth Now Movement, I sit down with coach, coach-trainer, and founder Tarryne West to explore why self-trust may be the most important skill we never learn—and why it's the antidote to fear.

Tarryne has spent over 16 years in what she calls the "Wild West" of the coaching industry, helping people create lasting transformation. But her journey didn't begin with confidence or clarity. It began with trauma, depression, anxiety, an eating disorder, and spending nearly two years homebound in New Zealand.

Everything changed when she discovered the work of Tony Robbins and realized that while she couldn't control everything happening around her, she could learn to influence her thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Within weeks, she was leaving the house and auditioning for a stage production—a moment that completely altered the trajectory of her life.

Today, Tarryne trains coaches around the world and teaches that self-trust isn't something you're born with—it's something you build through small promises you consistently keep with yourself.

We also dive into the rapidly growing coaching industry and discuss how to find a legitimate coach, why certifications aren't everything (but training matters), and what separates transformational coaching from surface-level advice. Tarryne explains why great coaches create agenda-free spaces that allow clients to uncover their own answers rather than simply telling them what to do.

If you've ever struggled with fear, self-doubt, anxiety, or wondering whether you're capable of creating meaningful change in your life, this conversation will remind you that transformation begins with trusting yourself.

    In This Episode, We Discuss:
    • Why self-trust is the antidote to fear
    • How to build confidence by keeping promises to yourself
    • Tarryn's incredible journey from being homebound to transforming lives
    • The role trauma, anxiety, and depression play in our personal growth
    • What Tony Robbins taught her that changed everything
    • How to choose the right coach for your personal transformation
    • Why coaching is still the "Wild West" and what to look for before hiring someone
    • What great coaching actually looks like
    • Why coaches need coaches, too
    • Creating lasting transformation through consistent practice
    • How to end every day proud of how you've shown up

Stop Waiting for Permission to Live an Audacious Life with Erika Rothenberger Jul 28, 2026
    Show notes

What does it really mean to live an audacious life?

In this episode of The Growth Now Movement, I sit down with Erica Rothenberger—a civil engineer, corporate executive, entrepreneur, mom of two, podcast host, and founder of the Audacious Women Summit—to talk about leadership, fulfillment, resilience, and turning unimaginable pain into purposeful action.

Erica defines being audacious differently than most people. It's not the highlight reel that everyone sees. It's the hard conversations, the early mornings, the uncomfortable decisions, and the behind-the-scenes work that no one applauds. It's choosing growth when it's difficult and continuing to show up when nobody's watching.

After a seventh-grade Take Your Daughter to Work Day introduced her to construction, Erica found herself building a successful career in a male-dominated industry by learning how to stretch beyond her comfort zone and walk confidently into rooms where she didn't always feel like she belonged.

But her greatest lesson wouldn't come from the boardroom.

In 2022, Erica survived a violent assault and strangulation that forever changed the trajectory of her life. Rather than allowing her story to define her, she chose to use it to serve others. Today, she's become an advocate for survivors, donates proceeds from her book to domestic violence organizations, and is working to bring Erica's Law to Pennsylvania.

We also dive into why so many high achievers struggle to feel fulfilled despite accomplishing incredible things, how meaningful relationships can completely change the direction of your life, and why celebrating your wins might be one of the most important habits you're currently neglecting.

This conversation is about courage, boundaries, healing, and giving yourself permission to live audaciously.

    In This Episode, We Discuss:
    • What it truly means to live an audacious life
    • The behind-the-scenes habits that create extraordinary success
    • Building confidence in male-dominated industries
    • Why high achievers often struggle with fulfillment
    • How meaningful connections can change your life's trajectory
    • Erica's journey from corporate leadership to creating the Audacious Women Summit
    • Surviving a violent assault and transforming pain into purpose
    • Why boundaries and saying "no" are essential for growth
    • The power of celebrating your accomplishments through an "Audacious Badass List"
    • Erica's 3:00-3:30 daily practice for creating intentionality and success
    • How resilience is built one decision at a time

The 5 Pillars of True Resilience with Kelly Green Jul 21, 2026
    Show notes

What if everything you've been taught about grit, success, and resilience is incomplete?

In this powerful episode of The Growth Now Movement, I sit down with Kelly Green—a psychotherapist, resilience researcher, farmer, university lecturer, and one of the most inspiring people I've had on the show. Kelly's story is one of unimaginable adversity, incredible achievement, and profound healing.

After surviving childhood sexual abuse and being sold for sex as a child, Kelly spent much of her life doing what so many high achievers do—proving her worth through achievement. She went from working at McDonald's to becoming an attorney, building a successful law practice, earning her Master's degree in Psychology from Harvard, and dedicating her life to helping others heal from trauma.

But despite all of her accomplishments, her body began keeping score.

Kelly shares how unresolved trauma led to multiple autoimmune diagnoses and forced her to confront an uncomfortable truth: success doesn't automatically equal healing.

During our conversation, we dive deep into the difference between grit and true resilience, why so many entrepreneurs and high performers burn themselves out chasing achievement, and how trauma affects our biology, mindset, and relationships. Kelly also shares her groundbreaking five pillars of holistic resilience and practical ways we can begin building a life that's not just successful—but sustainable and fulfilling.

If you've ever felt like you're doing all the right things but still feel exhausted, stuck, or disconnected from yourself, this episode will challenge the way you think about success, healing, and resilience.

    In This Episode, We Discuss:
    • Kelly's incredible journey from childhood trauma to Harvard graduate
    • The difference between grit and true resilience
    • Why high achievers often struggle with burnout and autoimmune disease
    • How childhood trauma impacts your biology and nervous system
    • The five pillars of holistic resilience
    • Why success doesn't always lead to fulfillment
    • Human connection and mentorship as keys to healing
    • Practical ways to build emotional and physical resilience
    • The biggest lesson Kelly learned about taking ownership of her healing journey
    • Daily habits that create a more resilient and purpose-driven life

Why Success Will Never Make You Feel Whole with Nick Santonastasso Jul 14, 2026
    Show notes

What if the thing you've been chasing your entire life is actually the thing keeping you from feeling fulfilled?

In this episode of the Growth Now Movement, I sit down once again with my good friend Nick Santonastasso. It's been almost five years since his first appearance on the show, and I can honestly say this is one of the most meaningful conversations we've ever had.

Most people know Nick because of his incredible story. Born with Hanhart syndrome, he has inspired millions by refusing to let his physical circumstances define his life. But what really stood out to me in this conversation wasn't his resilience—it was his honesty.

Nick shares how, despite achieving incredible success as a global speaker and entrepreneur, he realized he had been chasing a version of himself that didn't actually exist. Like so many high achievers, he believed the next accomplishment, the next stage, or the next milestone would finally make him feel enough.

    It never did.

Instead, Nick discovered that fulfillment isn't something you achieve. It's something you create from within.

We talk about how many entrepreneurs unknowingly build their identity around external validation, why people-pleasing often starts in childhood, and how even a successful personal brand can become a prison if you feel like you always have to be "on."

One of my favorite concepts Nick shares is the difference between living as a judge versus living as a scientist. Instead of beating yourself up every time something doesn't go your way, approach your life with curiosity. Ask better questions. Look for patterns. Learn instead of labeling yourself.

We even walk through a live coaching exercise where Nick helps uncover how childhood experiences can create resistance in business today. It's one of those moments that I know will stick with listeners long after the episode ends.

We also talk about the business side of things, including how COVID forced Nick to completely reinvent his business, learn sales, create offers, and develop Stage Secrets—a framework that teaches speakers how to confidently sell from stage without feeling manipulative.

This conversation is ultimately about redefining success.

It's about letting go of the fictional future version of yourself and realizing that the person you're becoming starts with who you choose to be today.

    In This Episode, We Discuss:
    • Why high achievers often feel unfulfilled despite their success

    • The danger of chasing a future version of yourself

    • How childhood experiences shape confidence and identity

    • Escaping people-pleasing and the need for validation

    • Why authenticity creates stronger leadership than perfection

    • The powerful "Judge vs. Scientist" mindset

    • How emotional healing impacts business growth

    • Nick's approach to selling from stage with integrity

    • The lessons COVID taught him about entrepreneurship

    • How to define what "enough" looks like before you achieve it

This episode is a reminder that growth isn't just about building a bigger business or accomplishing bigger goals.

Sometimes the greatest transformation happens when you stop trying to become someone else—and finally give yourself permission to become fully yourself.

How to Sell More Without Being Pushy or Manipulative with Zach Hesterberg Jul 07, 2026
    Show notes

What if the biggest thing standing between you and consistent high-ticket sales isn't your offer—but the way you're selling it?

In this episode of the Growth Now Movement, I sit down with entrepreneur and marketing strategist Zach Hesterberg to talk about how coaches, consultants, speakers, and service providers can attract more clients and sell premium offers without feeling pushy, salesy, or inauthentic.

Zach has built a business helping entrepreneurs use paid virtual events to consistently generate high-ticket sales, and what he shares in this conversation completely changes the way many people think about webinars and online events.

If you've written off virtual events because you think people are "Zoomed out," think again.

Zach explains why shorter, more intentional two-day virtual events continue to outperform many traditional webinars and how some of his clients have built repeatable systems that have generated millions of dollars in revenue.

But what I appreciate most about Zach is that he doesn't teach manipulation—he teaches trust.

We dive into his "upfront contract" strategy and the five core beliefs every buyer needs before they're willing to invest in themselves. Instead of convincing people to buy, Zach shows how to create an environment where the right people naturally want to take the next step.

We also talk about his entrepreneurial journey—from building a social media agency in his college dorm while playing Division I volleyball to finding his niche working with coaches and consultants. He shares how becoming a Chubbies Shorts ambassador sparked his interest in marketing, how one $1,000-per-month client gave him the confidence to keep going, and how pivoting during COVID led him to discover the power of paid virtual events.

One of the most impactful parts of our conversation comes when Zach shares losing his biggest client on his wedding night. Rather than letting it derail him, that experience strengthened his faith and reminded him that success isn't tied to one client, one opportunity, or one season.

Today, Zach defines success as faithfully living out God's calling for his life. His daily habits—including prayer, reading Scripture, taking care of his health, and investing intentionally in his marriage—keep him grounded as he continues building his business.

    In This Episode, We Discuss:
    • How to sell high-ticket offers without feeling manipulative

    • Why paid virtual events still work in today's market

    • The difference between educating and actually converting buyers

    • Zach's framework for building trust during sales presentations

    • The five buyer beliefs every entrepreneur should understand

    • Why niching down accelerated his business growth

    • The economics behind virtual events versus live events

    • How faith has shaped Zach's approach to entrepreneurship

    • Lessons learned from losing his biggest client during one of life's biggest moments

    • Daily habits that help him stay focused, healthy, and aligned

Whether you're selling coaching, consulting, speaking, courses, or professional services, this episode is packed with actionable marketing strategies that will help you serve more people while growing your business the right way.

Because at the end of the day, the best sales strategy isn't about pressure.

It's about building enough trust that the right people are excited to say yes.

How to Get Your Energy, Focus, and Life Back as an Entrepreneur with MJ Gordon Jun 30, 2026
    Show notes

What happens when you build the business, hit the goals, make the money, and create the success you thought you wanted—but your body, mind, and relationships are quietly falling apart behind the scenes?

In this episode of the Growth Now Movement, I sit down with MJ Gordon, a performance strategist and strategic advisor who works with established entrepreneurs, founders, and high-performing leaders who feel stuck, burned out, and at risk of breaking if they continue scaling the way they have been.

MJ helps people increase their time, energy, focus, and capacity without telling them to simply work harder, wake up earlier, or "fix their mindset." Because sometimes the problem isn't your discipline. Sometimes the problem is that your nervous system has been stuck in survival mode for so long that your body no longer knows how to recover.

MJ shares her own journey through a near-divorce, severe cortisol dysfunction, burnout, and the realization that traditional productivity advice was not enough. She began exploring holistic testing, nervous system recovery, bio-optimization, supplementation, sleep, genetics, neurodiversity, and individualized performance systems.

One of the biggest takeaways from this conversation is that many entrepreneurs have normalized fight-or-flight. We become so used to solving problems, chasing goals, putting out fires, and carrying everyone else's stress that we forget what it feels like to actually be regulated.

But that stress doesn't just affect your health.

It affects your ability to lead. It affects your sales conversations. It affects your creativity. It affects your decision-making. It affects your relationships. And eventually, it can affect the very business you worked so hard to build.

MJ explains why symptoms should not be treated one at a time. Brain fog, poor sleep, exhaustion, low motivation, anxiety, lack of focus, irritability, and feeling disconnected can all be part of a larger picture. She shares why deeper testing—including biomarker panels, genetics, neurodiversity assessments, and working with the right specialists—can help entrepreneurs finally understand what is happening underneath the surface.

We also talk about AI and how it can become an "external brain" to help reduce mental overload, close open loops, and create more room for presence and deep work. MJ shares how she helps clients use an energy-output algorithm to identify what is draining them, what is fueling them, and where they can create more capacity without sacrificing their health or family.

This episode is for the entrepreneur who is doing well on paper but doesn't feel well in real life.

You don't need more pressure. You may need a better system.

    In This Episode, We Discuss:
    • Why entrepreneurs often live in fight-or-flight without realizing it

    • How chronic stress impacts sales, leadership, focus, and creativity

    • Why discipline is not always the answer to burnout

    • MJ's personal story of cortisol dysfunction and recovery

    • How holistic testing can reveal root causes behind exhaustion and brain fog

    • Why biomarker panels, genetics, and neurodiversity assessments matter

    • The connection between sleep, recovery, and sustainable business growth

    • How to use AI as an external brain to reduce mental load

    • Why closing open loops can help you become more present

    • How to build more capacity without working yourself into the ground

    • What success looks like when you stop sacrificing your health for achievement

If you are growing a business, leading a team, building a legacy, or simply trying to become the best version of yourself, this conversation will challenge you to look at performance differently.

Because the goal isn't just to build a successful business.

The goal is to be healthy enough to enjoy it.

Why You're Afraid to Be Seen (And How to Change It) with Jessica Papineau Jun 23, 2026
    Show notes

What if the reason you don't feel confident when you walk into a room has less to do with what you're wearing—and more to do with the story you're telling yourself about who you are?

In this episode of the Growth Now Movement, I sit down with fashion stylist, entrepreneur, and business owner Jessica Papineau for a powerful conversation about confidence, identity, visibility, body image, and the way we show up in the world.

Jessica helps high-performing women use clothing, fit, fabric, and intentional style to feel more confident in their bodies and more aligned with the person they know they're becoming. Her mission is simple but powerful: help women "suit up and show up" without hiding, shrinking, or apologizing for taking up space.

But this episode is about so much more than fashion.

Jessica shares her story of losing everything in 2011 and rebuilding from the ground up. She talks about working in a boutique for $10 an hour while on food stamps, feeling stuck, and eventually realizing she had a gift that was meant to be used in a bigger way. After hearing a message from Tony Robbins about stepping into your purpose, she decided to bet on herself. That decision changed everything.

By December 2018, Jessica had doubled her income and eventually transitioned into her styling business full-time. Today, she serves clients through her curated boutique in Sarasota, virtual style boxes, look books, planning tools, podcasting, and coaching.

We also dive into why so many successful women crave visibility but are still afraid to be seen. Jessica explains that often the fear isn't about the clothes—it's about not fully owning your story, your body, your past, or your vulnerability.

We talk about comparison culture, self-worth, investing in quality pieces, and the small practices that can help you reconnect with who you are. Jessica also shares a few practical tips for men, including why a great belt and clean shoes can go a long way.

Her definition of success today isn't just money or business growth. It's what she calls "the four": family, peace, and health. After experiencing burnout and walking through difficult seasons in her personal life, she has learned the importance of surrender, boundaries, and choosing yourself.

    In This Episode, We Discuss:
    • How fashion and personal style can help you build confidence
    • Why successful women often struggle with visibility and body shame
    • The real reason people hide behind their clothes
    • Jessica's journey from food stamps to entrepreneurship
    • The Tony Robbins message that pushed her to bet on herself
    • How to stop comparing yourself to everyone else
    • Why quality and fit matter more than following trends
    • Practical style advice for women, entrepreneurs, speakers, and men
    • How voice notes and journaling can unlock creative ideas
    • Redefining success around family, peace, health, and purpose
    • The personal growth lessons Jessica learned through hardship

This episode is a reminder that confidence is not something you wait for. It's something you practice. And sometimes, one of the simplest ways to start is by deciding to show up as the person you already know you're becoming.

From Business Empire to Bedridden with Mairin Moore Cane Jun 16, 2026
    Show notes

We live in a world that celebrates hustle, achievement, and constant growth. But what happens when success comes at the expense of your health?

In this week's episode of the Growth Now Movement, I sit down with leadership advisor, entrepreneur, coach, and author Mairin Moore Cane for one of the most powerful conversations I've had about burnout, identity, and what it truly means to live a successful life.

Mairin's story is incredible. Alongside her husband, she helped build a home services company that expanded across 34 states, employed hundreds of people, and earned recognition on the Inc. 5000 list. By every traditional measure, she was winning.

But behind the scenes, years of stress, pressure, and carrying the weight of leadership were slowly taking a toll.

Eventually, her body forced her to stop.

Mairin opens up about developing severe chronic health issues, including gastroparesis, complications from celiac disease, extreme weight loss, and dangerously low blood pressure. What followed was nearly four years of being bedridden—a season that challenged everything she thought she knew about success, identity, and purpose.

We talk about the emotional journey that came with it: the anger, grief, frustration, and ultimately the surrender that allowed her to begin healing. She shares how journaling became a lifeline during that season and eventually inspired her book, Rooted Not Rested.

Today, Mairin helps high-performing women navigate leadership, burnout recovery, life transitions, and sustainable growth. Her work is centered around helping people build lives they don't need to escape from while staying aligned with their deepest values.

This conversation is a reminder that success isn't just about what you build—it's about who you become along the way.

    In This Episode, We Discuss:
    • The hidden dangers of burnout and chronic stress
    • Building a business empire while losing yourself in the process
    • The health crisis that changed Mairin's life forever
    • Why so many leaders tie their worth to achievement
    • The importance of identity beyond productivity
    • How journaling became a catalyst for healing
    • The lessons behind Rooted Not Rested
    • Setting boundaries without sacrificing ambition
    • Leading from values instead of validation
    • Redefining success in a way that actually feels fulfilling

This episode is for every entrepreneur, executive, leader, and high achiever who's ever felt exhausted from chasing the next goal. Mairin's story serves as a powerful reminder that sometimes the greatest growth comes when life forces us to slow down.

The Hidden Reason High Performers Burn Out (And How to Fix It) with Angus Nelson Jun 09, 2026
    Show notes

What if the key to becoming a better leader isn't pushing harder—but learning how to regulate yourself better?

This week on the Growth Now Movement, I welcome back my good friend Angus Nelson for the first time in nearly five years. A lot has changed since our last conversation. Angus moved from Nashville to Portugal, rebuilt parts of his life and business from the ground up, and discovered some powerful lessons about leadership, fulfillment, stress, and what it truly means to thrive.

As an executive coach and the author of Neuro Resilient Leader, Angus has spent years helping entrepreneurs, executives, and high performers navigate uncertainty, burnout, and the overwhelming pace of modern life. In this conversation, he breaks down why so many successful people are struggling right now and why the answer isn't more hustle—it's learning how to regulate your nervous system and lead from a place of clarity and composure.

We dive into the concept of neuro resilience, which Angus describes as your ability to adapt, recover, and stay grounded when life throws challenges your way. He shares his powerful C3 Framework—Clarity, Capacity, and Composure—and explains how leaders can stop operating in constant reaction mode and start creating sustainable success.

We also talk about the dangers of chasing validation, how AI is reshaping leadership, why so many people feel disconnected despite their achievements, and the simple daily practices Angus uses to stay centered and focused.

This episode is packed with practical wisdom for entrepreneurs, leaders, and anyone looking to create more peace, purpose, and fulfillment without sacrificing ambition.

    In This Episode, We Discuss:
    • Why Angus moved to Portugal and how it transformed his perspective
    • The hidden connection between burnout and nervous system dysregulation
    • What neuro resilience is and why every leader needs it
    • How high performers can accomplish more by doing less

    • Practical ways to regulate stress and anxiety
    • The impact AI is having on leadership and decision-making
    • Angus's 10-minute daily mindset practice
    • His definition of success and the legacy he hopes to leave behind

Why Most People Never Create Deep Focus in Their Life with Chuck Balsamo Jun 02, 2026
    Show notes

In this episode of the Growth Now Movement, I reconnect with entrepreneur and visionary builder Chuck Balsamo for the first time in five years, and this conversation dives deep into productivity, focus, entrepreneurship, family, legacy, and the systems required to build something truly meaningful.

Chuck shares what life has looked like during the last several years of building new ventures, staying intensely focused on growth, and learning how to protect both his energy and his time while still showing up for the people who matter most.

We talk extensively about the importance of building "fortresses" of productivity by intentionally designing environments that reduce distraction, minimize decision fatigue, and create opportunities for deep work. Chuck explains how time blocking, routines, boundaries, and intentional calendar management have become essential tools for both business success and personal peace.

Drawing from concepts popularized by Daniel H. Pink around willpower, discipline, and habits, Chuck breaks down why most people fail to protect their focus and how entrepreneurs can create systems that allow them to perform at a higher level consistently without burning out.

One of the most powerful parts of this conversation is Chuck's perspective on legacy. As his businesses have grown, he's become increasingly aware that every "yes" comes at the expense of something else, often time with family. We discuss the emotional realities of entrepreneurship, the tradeoffs that come with ambition, and why saying "no" is one of the most important skills anyone can develop.

Chuck also introduces his newest venture, uSpace, a premium backyard remote workspace designed to create an undistracted environment for focused work, creativity, and productivity. He shares the origin story behind the company, the inspiration for the design, pricing and financing options, tax and ROI considerations, and his long-term vision for scaling the business into a potentially billion-dollar brand. Take a look at USPACE

    We also talk about:

    • The "sprinter mindset" for work productivity
    • Why environment shapes performance
    • How distraction is quietly destroying creativity
    • Why one great idea can completely change your life
    • The importance of protecting mental space
    • Entrepreneurship and ego
    • Health scares that shifted Chuck's perspective on life and empathy

This episode is packed with practical insights for entrepreneurs, creators, executives, remote workers, parents, and anyone trying to create more focus, balance, and intentionality in their life.

In This Episode, You Will Learn:
